Today's laugh comes at the expense of con man Mitch McConnell as he desperately tries to convince everyone that the US, which we are told over and over again is the richest nation in the world, won't default on its debt. How can such a rich nation even utter these words? I'll tell you: because all the "wealth" is just paper assets and not real wealth.
These guys see interest rates rising just like I do and they are worried about it. When confidence runs out of the con game there is nothing they can except run for cover. McConnell cannot change anything. These guys are for entertainment purposes only.

Of course the USA, USA, USA will not default on its obligations. It'll continuing making them good by issuing more colored paper.
