Gullible fools don't understand that they have been had.

I feel very sorry for most Americans.  The old, credit driven prosperity is falling away and there will be serious life style changes for many as adjustments are made.  Buying power of the middle class is collapsing right now.  Bernanke has bailed out every one of his cronies on Wall St. and Main Street is about to figure out who the patsy on that deal was.

At the same time, most Americans deserve what they are getting even if they don't understand why.  By delegating their safety and security to the corrupt two party system they have given up their ability to defend themselves.  The founders of this nation were very clear: it takes an informed and active citizenry to keep government honest.  Yet Americans have been willing to believe in any lies, any fantasy that liars like Bush and Obama fed them.

Instead of listening to long time truth tellers like Ron Paul, most Americans mocked Dr.  Paul in some form or fashion. They laughed at his physical stature, his ill fitting suits and his squeaky little voice.  A combination of mass ignorance and arrogance caused the people to deem Dr. Paul 'quirky" at best, "crazy" more commonly and "dangerous" to some.  And so they dismissed him and his ideas of honest money, limited government, more rights and freedoms for the individual.  Instead they embraced Ben Bernanke and his Ponzi economic policies, GW "warmonger"/traitor Bush, and lying scum bag Obama.  When the liar in chief said "affordable care act", they actually believed him.  All I can say is "gul-i-ble"!

I was blasting away at that con game and exposing it for what it is right from the outset.  It is nothing more than forced consumption of something people don't want or need in order to make up for the millions of boomers going into retirement.  The government has promised these people medicare and medicaid but there is no money to pay for it.  The health care costs skyrocket in the final years of life - it is like the balloon payment on a mortgage.

ACA violates so many rules of economics that its not even funny.  It also violates the concepts of freedom.  The government thinks that it owns us and that it will tell us all how to spend what dwindling money we might have.  The government thinks we all have a bunch of spare money each month that we are not spending and so with the stroke of a pen it will get us to spend.  But it could not have happened had they called it the "bail out corrupt government promises" act, so they call it the affordable care act.

As I have posted before in these pages, the liberal morons of this country are now figuring out who the patsy was in this and man are they going to be pissed when it all comes home to roost.  This video was posted by Mish on his website today and I think it captures the ACA shock pretty well.  Please look at that video.  The poor, hapless sheeple in the video are likely those who voted for this crap because if it had been someone like me on the video I would have been using the F word left and right.  As in "that Fvcking traitor Obama, I knew he was going to screw America over" and such like that.  Those of us that saw this coming, those of us that pleaded with anyone who would listen to vote for Ron Paul and to telephone their congressional rep to push back against this massive Obama-Biden healthcare scam, we are not "unhappy" about this.  We are fvcking pissed.  Everyone else actually thought they were going to get something for nothing.  Gullible fools, all.

Soon we, the visionary libertarian conservatives, will be joined by the disillusioned liberals and weak conservatives.  Our numbers will grow and so will our voice.  Real anger is going to break out in the US.  Real civil unrest.  It is totally coming.  Then and only then will we find out if America is anything more than just a failing empire.  I gotta tell you folks, the odds do not favor us this time.  In fact, my read of the EW model for the country is this: the USA will not survive as a single entity.  There will be spin offs and satellites formed where people seek more control of their own destiny.  It could easily spell the end of the USA being the dominant global super power.  I for one would vote for secession of Texas AS LONG AS:
  • All debts to the federal government that TX might have would be defaulted on, plain and simple.
  • Texas adopt honest, gold backed money including a system whereby the gold is audited by the people, not some paid administrator.  Every month, there would be "audit day" wherein 15 regular citizens would have to report to the gold storage facility in order to observe an audit.  The reward for participating in the audit would be to be able to request, on the spot, the type of audit to be performed, which exact gold bars would be looked at, etc.  All of it would be televised over the Internet.  In other words, complete transparency of the money backing.
  • The elimination of fractional reserve lending, period.
  • The elimination of all tax loopholes, period.  Flat tax for everyone no matter how much they make.
  • A reduction of government size by 80%.  No more department of education, transportation, etc.  and a large chunk of political positions eliminated.  No more full time political positions (strict term limits).  Every political candidate would have to have a real job thus eliminating professional politicians.
  • Immediate banning of US federal government agents within the borders of New Texas for any reason.  They would simply have no authority any more nor would their corrupt laws have any jurisdiction in New Texas.
  • Elimination of exporting goods as a means to making a profit.  In other words, neutral trade deficit.  Above the chair of the President of Texas must be a gold plated sign in large font (like the "Think" sign over Thomas Watson's chair) saying "Neither a borrower nor a lender be.".  It should become the official slogan of New Texas.
  • Complete decriminalization of drugs for individual use above the age of 21.  Instead, tax the sales like booze.
  • Immediate release from detention of anyone who is jailed for nonviolent crimes except money crimes above $1 million.  This does not mean that they are off "scott free".  It simply means they are released so that the people no longer have to pay for their existence.  Each case should be evaluated by a judge for secondary sentencing.  In other words, if you have someone who stole $5million then they become a slave to repay those they stole from.  Their sentence becomes hours of unpaid service.  Failure to comply means you go back to jail, but the jail will no longer be a place of simple confinement.  It will be hard labor for the state.  So it will not benefit anyone to simply be lazy while working off their debt.
  • Immediate review of all police officers, highway patrol operations, etc. for corruption and rights abuses.  Anyone found guilty will be relieved of duty and then be punished by a New Texas court of law.  I fear that a lot of Texas policemen would be found guilty under this new public scrutiny.
These are the basic reforms that I think need to happen and if they did, New Texas would have a new problem: MASS IMMIGRATION.  Everyone would want to come work and play in the country that respects individual freedoms and privacy.  An honest money supply would quickly right the toppling economy and New Texans would enjoy a high quality of low stress, low volatility life.  After the bloody revolution of course.  I don't think the con men running the USA would let a prize like Texas go easily.  But of all the states, Texas is the one with the best legal underpinning to secede.

It makes no sense to have the government peeking into export sales to determine whether they are profitable or not and vet them. That's as much a violation of freedom of association as the current Federal government often does. And then, this would only be the beginning.

Other than that, I look forward to the return of the Republic of Texas.

What I meant was that government should not try to push exports as a means of economic support. Profitability is not the issue. The issue is where malinvestment is made by businesses and encouraged by government in the name of driving exports. The only value of exports is if they are offset by imports of equal value. Exports are a mechanism for diversification of consumption, not for the purpose of attempting to enrich an economy. That is the only point I was trying to make and it is one that I'm sure is valid.
