Yep folks, the dollar is taking off like a sky rocket, train has left the station and you are not aboard. Don't you feel stupid? Well I guess the implication is that you should just grit your teeth and buy it now that it has already peaked. That's right folks, nobody likes to be left behind by the herd so jump aboard!! Forget about the price tag, the water's fine. Oh, and don't worry because trees do grow to reach the sky...
Of course I mock the "you missed your chance" line as well. The dollar is a piece of shit whose value is derived by comparing it to other different kinds of smellier shit. But all of it is shitty fake counterfeit faith based currency which has zero intrinsic value. Eventually it will all trade at its intrinsic value.
So if that is what I missed buying into, so be it. No complaints from me on that score.
Of course, maybe my attitude is based on my high level wave count of UUP which I detailed here. Or possibly it could be based on my view that copper (as proxied via the copper miners) is very near a bottom. Or maybe it's due to my views that gold has just entered a 3rd wave up in a larger bull market whose first wave took the metal to $1900.
Then again, perhaps it's the fact that the recent sell off in oil looks to be a 5th wave down after a multi-year sideways move which just happened to form a perfect horizontal triangle. Oil is in fact where gold was back in early November. We should keep that in mind as it would be fun to play the 3rd wave up in gold and then go catch the 3rd wave up in copper too. I love 3rd waves when they are headed your way!

It's incorrect to say that dollar bills have zero intrinsic value. Much like Weimar marks, they'd make excellent fire starters for a barbecue grill or fire place.
I did consider their value as tinder but rejected it due to the use of toxic ink. You cannot cook your food over burning bills folks. The smoke will transfer the chemicals and you can get sick.
