One obvious hallmark of hyper liberalism is what I like to call the false friend con. Government is a pro at this particular scam because politicians are adept at looking you square in the eye and lying their asses off. You see the false friend con game all over the place and you can recognize it because it generally promises to be your friend somehow, to take care of you, to relieve you of life's normal burdens while achieving exactly the opposite.
It's like the child thieves that find single women in the airport who are toting along a young baby. They will sit down next to tired mom, strike up a conversation, comment on how cute the baby is and how mom must be so tired with all the burden she is dealing with by traveling with an infant. Then the stranger asks to hold the baby and of course for 3 minutes of that she is the perfect nanny. After gaining the confidence of the tired mom, the stranger tells her that if she needs to run to the restroom real quick that she would be glad to watch her baby and her stuff. Some percentage of the moms will fall for it and when they return of course, the baby is already long gone. That's the false friend scam.
So right now we have a lot of false friends in our hyper liberalized society. For example, the so called Patriot Act. Sounds patriotic, right? But at the end of the day it doesn't target ANY real terrorists, it just treats everyone like a terrorist. It's a total power grab and nothing more. And then there is the Affordable Care Act which of course is the home of the broken, 5 billion dollar web site and of course health care insurance rates have never been higher. That would be bad enough but when you go to use the benefits that you clearly overpaid for, you find out that the plan doesn't cover a lot of shit. Obamacare is nothing more than full employment for bureaucrats and insurance companies. It all sounds good to stupid people who later find out the hard way that if government is involved then you really want to stay away from it.
Enter Planned Parenthood, a corrupt organization which I have written about in these pages more than once to expose their corruption. Their recent gaffe includes a new undercover video where she is talking to fake reps from the medical biz who want her to sell them harvested organs from the aborted babies. Gee folks, talk about conflict of interest!! How much of these funds goes directly to the abortionist and how much goes to Planned Parenthood? How do we know that these money grubbing Hellions don't get "special orders" for certain blood types, etc. which lead them to push mothers that might be carrying qualifying babies into getting an abortion? I mean, people will do pretty much anything for Mammon Money. Here's a second video that surfaced of the selling of "fetal tissue".
Well this crap has been going on for a long time and neither left nor right has lifted a finger to put a stop to it but I think the conservative wave is just going to be a measured but relentless agent of change. Today's proof point of this is that a Rep Senator from Oklahoma introduced a bill to not only temporarily de-fund Planned Parenthood but also to investigate it. Yup. Newly conservative conservatives will be fighting each other for the chance to grandstand on the back of this issue. They don't really care one way or the other but they do want to appear to be friends of the people and emotional issues like selling baby parts is just the ticket.
