NRA reports that permitless carry goes into effect in West VA on May 24th. More importantly, it shows that the few liberal leaders placed at the top of the pyramid are, on an accelerating basis, losing their ability to control the masses. All power placed back into the hands of the people (and the ability to arm oneself anyplace anytime for any reason without asking permission from some corrupt sell out bureaucrat is personal power) is power that is lost by the state. It is a win-lose situation. The state has been winning for 40 years but all of these gains were themselves permitted by the people in exchange for personal prosperity. Now that the personal prosperity has peaked along with the massive debt cycle that the liberal con men have created, the people are demanding ALL their power back. The state has to realize that the powers were never given, only delegated. Too many elite oligarchs do not understand this. They actually think they have power over an armed population. It makes me chuckle.
I was out to the gun range here in Pville TX today. It was around 2pm. Most people should have been at work but the parking lot was packed and the place was jumping. The people of most countries have been disarmed and their countries are now shit holes. Their governments make empty promises about keeping people safe but smart people know that crime and conflict are good for governments because it gives them something to point to in order to justify their existence. They tell the people that the people need the government protection and thus leave it all to them. Same line we heard from street mafia back in the 20s and 30s in the USA (AKA protection racket).
No thank you, government. The police have never done anything for me and I don't need their help. I can take care of myself. Sometimes it simply does not take a village.
