[Hillary] catches a break from DOJ

Nothing goes straight up or straight down and today's news is a bear market retracement for Hillary who has been having a really bad string of late.  In short, the DOJ said it was legal for her to delete personal emails and that they would not be requesting more of same.  But before any Hillary worshipers get too excited, the judgement only stated that she didn't have to hand anything else over.  It did not state that what has already been handed over was obtained illegally or that it could not be used to prosecute here.

Still, she was finally forced to admit that it was not good judgement.  Unfortunately for her, it came out as a left handed apology, completely devoid of contrition while also implying that the stupid public was "confused" by the whole thing: "That was a mistake. I'm sorry about that. I take responsibility," she told the news network.  Until Tuesday, Clinton had demurred from issuing a direct apology.  "I certainly wish that I had made a different choice," Clinton said last week, adding that she was "sorry" that the controversy was "confusing" for the public."

This is not what conservative leaning people want to hear.  They might forgive if they see something other than elite weasling - something that takes a lot of legal firepower that would not be available to the common man if you or I had done what she had done.   While this was clearly a pressure reduction in terms of criminal prosecution, I don't think it is going to help her at the polls to say the least.  In fact, it might even make the FBI work harder to find some dirt on her lest it now appear that they ruffled her feathers for no good reason.
