Where are interest rates going?

In this post I took the time to explain why the fed doesn't control interest rates and I provided a chart of the 10 year bond rates that modeled rates as ready to head much higher.  That chart is reproduced below for convenience.


Below is the zoom in of the same chart which I think shows some interesting detail on the breakout.  The down sloping orange line was the first resistance line and the blue down sloping line was the second resistance line.  Notice how that gap took out both of these lines in one fell swoop.  This is what a new herd direction looks like folks.  Interest rates are about to head up dramatically as wave 3 up plays out.  Wave 3 implies a rapid move over a short period of time which tends to take market participants by surprise.  Don't be surprised!  It is going to happen.  It is already happening.
