Democrats divided in 2020

The starting line is forming for the presidential race in 2020.  On the GOP side is Trump and then I think maybe some other also rans.  On the Dem side is Biden, Sanders, Beto and Warren and then a whole cast of other unlikely people.

At this point I think the dems are really shooting themselves in the foot.  This isn't their usual team effort.  This is a bum rush; every man and indian for herself.  Its a whose who of people with recognizable names but for whatever reason are un-electable for president.

Joe Biden

Creepy Uncle Joe Biden was the token white guy in Obama's run.  All Biden did while VP was to pose in creepy child pedo groping videos and photos.  It's like he thought he was invisible or something.  The man is truly cringe-worthy around kids, especially young girls.  Biden was also on the team that delivered so little change to its constituency that a massive and country wide revolt formed, flopping over to the GOP side to put Trump in office.  You KNOW the dems were disillusioned with Obama, Biden and Hillary if Trump could win that contest.  Biden doesn't get to walk away from that political train wreck so the dems really should bag and tag this old elitist pedo.

Bernie Sanders
Sanders had some support among those who wanted to benefit from his "something for nothing" socialism.  Sanders was the original modern day overt socialist.  But he's now 77 years old which is not a big plus when other overt socialists are now on the dem scene.  They looked at what worked for Bernie and are emulating his message and that means his differentiation is gone.  All that is left is the old part.  And one more thing.  Whatever Bernie's strengths might be, he is no chess player.  He didn't see himself being set up by Criminal Hillary and her DNC co-conspirators.  They duped his ass good.  That makes him a loser, someone with perhaps a strong idea about what he wants but who will never be able to outsmart the other sharks in the tank who would constantly be smelling blood in the water with him in the oval office.  I'm sorry Bernie, it's time to step back and find a nice pasture to live out the remainder of your life.  Or you can spend what little time you have left figuring out how to get even with Hillary.  I think that would give your life purpose and many would consider anything you come up with as fair justice.

Beto O'Rourke
Speaking of younger people who have latched onto Bernie's socialism message, we have Beto.  Beto has never seen an unfunded wealth transfer give away something for nothing scheme that he doesn't like.  As Trump says, he's got a good first name for our current political environment sounding both young and minority at the same time.  Beto's got some political experience with 3 terms as a congressman from Texas yet he was unable to take down Cruz, who is no superstar by any means, in a race for Texas senate.  In my view, Beto has not been politically tested yet.  His father in law is a real estate tycoon, a white man of privilege. Beto's going to have to manage that image carefully in order to have any chance.  I see Beto as being stronger than Biden and Sanders in 2020.

Elizabeth Warren
Warren, being a *native american* woman, has a built in advantage to get the dem vote.  They are so hard up to elect someone based on political correctness instead of on ability, leadership and vision.  Warren used to be a closet socialist but now she is a full on flamer who keeps talking about government providing basic income for people who don't want to work to earn it.  At the same time she campaigns on rebuilding the middle class and ending government corruption.  So she's taking a little from Bernie and a little from Trump and adding it to her gender and poof, we have a campaign.
But Warren has lost too much credibility with the Pocahontas stunt, including the outright lie that she put on her lawyer's card and signed it that she was native american.  Thinking people have to decide for themselves whether she is a manipulative opportunist or a delusional old lady (now pushing 70 years old...).  Warren thus represents risk to aging centrist dems which they probably don't want to sign up for.  I think that she and Biden, combined, have about 5% chance of winning the presidency and of that number Creepy Joe represents 4.999%.

Regardless of which of these candidates gets on the 2020 ballot, many impassioned liberals are going to feel disenfranchised because it was not their brand of liberalism that got the nod.  At this point there is no way to make the liberal population of the US happy because nobody is really capable of digging them out of the hopeless debt that some many of the most rabid ones find themselves mired in.  They say a house divided cannot stand but I think in 2020 we will be seeing a village divided on the liberal side.
