Look how the heads of state are blatantly accusing each other now. Putin says Turkey is protecting supply lines for IS oil that is being sold to Turkey. This would be a violation of international law of the worst kind but I suspect all the heads know what is really happening. They just pretend its not about the money. The whole thing makes me sick when I think of the kind of human suffering these people are causing without batting an eye.
This shooting down of a Russian fighter jet is scary stuff. Russia was told to stay out of the war on terrorism because they have a different idea of who the real terrorists are. The US wanted to be free to "fight terror" (AKA "protecting its interests" because the US really doesn't give two shits about really fighting terror since the US has clearly caused more 3rd world terror than any other nation in history).
But Russia didn't heed the warning and they waded in anyhow and so a "miscalculation" occurred despite supposed steps taken to avoid them. Putin is in a tough spot right here. US paid puppet Turkey has spit in his face in a most public and humiliating way. He either turns the other cheek and risks being viewed as a pussy or he takes the bait and retaliate at which time Turkey acts like the injured party. Turkey is of course a cowardly nation for shooting down Russia's fighter like that. Even if it was in Turkish air space it was there for 3 seconds or some stupid thing like that. Certainly not enough provocation to fire on it. Turkey is hiding behind the skirt of NATO, which is to say of the US.
