A bunch of sudden changes seem to be happening across several industries, almost as if top level orders have been handed down.
- Deutsche bank CEO is out just a couple weeks after he was given more power to reorg the bank. I find this unusual and remarkable. It's almost like the highest management in the bank didn't see it coming.
- Disney CFO is suddenly out but, hey, everyone is still friends.
- Cisco's two presidents resigned.
- Wal-Mart chairman resigned.
How about this for a plan:
a) get rid of the old guy (with a massive golden parachute of course)
b) stuff goes to shit
c) blame it on the last guy and then make a big show of reforms (while the share price plummets of course)
Yeah, it's what I would do if I were them.
