As I have pointed out in these pages many times using the lions vs water buffalo video, at some unexpected point, the water buffalo simply stop allowing themselves to be victimized by the lions and they instead decide to stand up for themselves. They get tired of watching yet another of their young ones killed by the pride (errr, proud police...). This is what just happened in Ferguson, MO. Now the governor is trying to call for calm. He even had the audacity to try the old Jedi mind trick of "sleep" as he waved his hand in front of their eyes.
Of course, the response came back "sleep is not an option". The state is clearly backpedaling in fear right now and it should be afraid. The initial proof of this is twofold. First, they gave up the name of the murderer, one officer Darren Wilson. The con men normally just form a blue wall around the criminal murders of their ranks and tell the people that everything done was within departmental policy. It literally happens at least once per month some place in the USA. A child with no gun or a toy guy is killed in cold blood by the police who are terribly worried about their own safety and zero concerned about that of anyone else.
After years of police abuse against the people who pay their salaries, the death of teenager Michael Brown was just one step too far. It happened as the debt Ponzi is accelerating into the collapse phase, just as I have been expecting. The herd is on the move and nobody is going to talk their way out of this. Two years ago it would not even have been front page news. But now there are lots of unemployed people with time on their hands who want some payback and when they see others rioting and looting they will blend in with the crowd and add their own efforts to the retribution.
The authorities have one and only one best way forward: allow the murderous police officer to be tried in a court of law by a jury of their peers JUST LIKE ANY OTHER MORTAL MAN WOULD BE. This would send a signal to all police everywhere that the easy days of abusing the common man are rapidly coming to an end for this cycle and that the pendulum is swinging back toward the favor of the people and away from fake money, big government and police state. Police and government cannot be above the law forever without eventually causing a major rift in society.
Failure to heed these warnings could easily spread like contagion across the country and into all large cities. The establishment either has to show that it is not going to resist the new trend or there is going to be serious, serious trouble with many dead and many wounded in the associated violence.
Again, none of this would be happening if we had an honest money supply. What is really being protested here, even if the people don't know it, is the concentration of power that was only made possible by the acceptance of a fraudulent money supply. The only real long term fix for these societal swings is to get rid of dishonest money, especially the really dangerous part of it known as fractional reserve banking.

Every government survives on the consent of the majority of the people, even tyrannies. The consent can be a vote or silence. But its withdrawal can be a vote or a loud voice. The people of MO is withdrawing its consent loudly and the governor knows that government, that is, his own royal "heiness", will not survive. He thinks that he can save his heiney if he throws one of his own to the masses in order placate them. Hopefully stopping there, lest the people come for him.
