More evidence comes out today that the worm has turned today with respect to institutional criminals no longer getting away with massive corruption which they clearly have gotten used to engaging in over a long period of time. This time its a real drug ring (as opposed to some guy growing pot in his back yard which has been the focus of the police for years now...) with 34 people arrested. We're not talking pot here, it was coke and meth. And we aren't just talking fall guy patsies either as not one but two lawyers (a two bagger!) got picked up for their involvement.
What we have here is institutionalized crime that has gone on "unnoticed" (bullshit!) for a long time. I mean 90 (ninety) keys of coke and two keys of meth? And 1.5mn in assets? That's not small time. Also, instead of "we can't provide names at this time due to ongoing investigation" bullshit, they put the list on dropbox and provided a public link which included names and possible penalties they face for the charges. In other words, real police work. While I am not a fan of the war on drugs, my biggest complaint about it is that the laws have been used as a weapon against ordinary folks instead of being reserved for true drug operations like the one in question. The real drug runners would just pay off the authorities.
The message is being sent now: the games are over. The liberal bullshit must come to an end. No more free passes for the elite. In fact, I predict it will turn into open season on them before this is over.
