More evidence of the pendulum swinging away from liberalism.

I'll try keep it short: As reported by Newsmax, but according to USA Today, GOP mid term gains could be largest in 2 decades.  Yeah, Obama totally jumped the liberal shark with Obamacare.  It was the straw that finally broke the rise of socialism and extreme/"progressive" liberalism, both cultural and economic.  It's what finally made people realize that the American Dream (which is really an old con job known as "false prosperity based on expanding credit") is over and that all of our lives are going to change as a result.  Unfortunately, too many people think GOP=conservative and that simply is not true.

Cultural liberalism wears the mask of doing good for the poor, making sure people who really ought to be digging ditches have their fair chance at wasting a college eduction, etc.  Liberalism is academia with its hands in politics.  It's about  a pull back from religion and a run toward Hollywood and LGBT.  The weak of society are uplifted and the successful business owner is told "you didn't build that".  All of these things have been on the rise while the credit was expanding and that included GOP government run by Tricky Dick, G Bush 1 and 2, Clinton, etc.  We have not had a true conservative in office since Ike and he warned us that a big bout of economic liberalism was coming as spearheaded by the military industrial complex.  Economic liberalism is about government spending on things that don't need to be purchased, and always using debt to do it.  No paygo.  No living within our means.  Banks are uplifted as doing God's work while savers are pissed on with ridiculously low interest rate on their savings.

These things, all of them, will be a-changing over the coming years and some of the changes will come very quickly like a big slap in the face to many people.  They will never see it coming and they are not prepared for its arrival.  Not all of these changes will be for the better.  For example, organized religion will gain more power and that has not always ended well for the people.  Organized religion is just religion run by man and I don't see how that can ever make sense regardless of whether or not you simply believe in or actually worship God .
