In another sign that free speech is winning over special interest pandering, Twitter re-enabled links to a "I stand with Phil" petition after the Duck Commander "claimed the social media site purposely blocked the website for political reasons". Twitter blamed the incident on a ghost (LIAR LIAR pants on fire!) and then apologized for the "error". Apologized for the miscalculation they mean. It's being reported that even members of LGBT do not like the backlash that Commander Phil received for speaking his mind.
When the group that your actions are supposed to protect doesn't want your protection (and in fact thinks that you are harming their cause), it's a good time to stop trying. I think we are going to see others follow in Commander Phil's footsteps and lose the fake political correctness and just say what they think with far less fear of career collapse syndrome than existed just a few weeks ago. We will know the tide has truly turned when our turncoat president flops away from LGBT. He is a useless loser and has screwed everyone who ever listened to him. It will not be different this time. Leopard #44 cannot change his spots.
Come on A&E, just admit it. You lost. You Ducking Lost. Give it up already and just apologize to the Ducks and get on with your business before it costs you your business. Face saving is highly overrated!
