A Sheriff in Texas plans on deputizing 10 local citizens to fight the border crisis. He's preferring those with prior police or military experience, so it looks like he's not playing games here. So what he's really doing is decriminalizing the killing of Mexican coyotes IMO. You cannot just spend all your efforts and resources shooing away the vermin who lead refugees across the border. You need to start putting bullets in the heads of those coyotes and then this will give other coyotes cause to pause.
My solution was similar but lower cost: just sell hunting tags to rednecks and tell them that anyone crossing a particular line may be shot without legal repercussions. You could sell those tickets for whatever you want and you would have a 10 year backlog of people willing to pay it. And as soon as those people started pulling triggers, that would be the end of the border crisis.
It's just that simple. Get rid of the fake do gooder political correctness. This is war. We are being overrun. We have the right to fight back in any way that we find effective.
