Conservative news continues to move away from ad revenue model

When you operate under the ad revenue model, someone other than your readers controls what is going on.  Just recently The Western Journal, which is a conservative news outlet, shut down its comments section because advertisers there didn't like some of the comments being put up.

In response, Western Journal explained what was happening to readers and then indicated it would be moving, in the fullness of time, to a subscription based model.  So the message is going out far and wide now that if you want to have a say online then you are going to have to pay something for it going forward.  And then of course it will turn into if you want to have content to read which aligns with your thinking then again, you must pay for it.  The stuff that remains free at that point will mainly be liberal indoctrination garbage.
