PG&E makes California pay for being so litigious

Pacific Gas and Electric got blamed for a recent series of wildfires for various reasons.  You can read about the fires, number of lives lost, etc. but at the end of the day, one bureaucratic organization blamed another one for all the losses. This directly led to PG&E going bankrupt.  Lawyers told everyone "there's a lot of money to take there" but of course it was horse shit an many people will see nothing because, after all, PG&E had little to take.  The fact that they let sagging power lines cause wildfires suggests that they didn't have enough staff to do normal maintenance.

Normally a big utility like PG&E gets government type status with immunity from these kinds of disasters.  After all, who wants to work at a breakeven utility if you have to shoulder risks for what well could have been acts of G_d.  After all, the 911 commission said that the twin towers "pancaked".  They were hit by aircraft so I guess some found that believable.  But WTC7 collapsed into its own footprint at the speed of gravity just like the other two and it was not hit by a plane.  The 911 liars said it succumbed to office fires.  So when "Cal Fire" blamed PG&E, was it really their fault or just another act of liberals eating their own.

Well PG&E is under new management now, and they want to be careful not to fall into the same trap as the last guys did.  And so - get this - they are preemptively shutting off power to 800,000 customers in order to reduce wildfire risk.  That is fucking hilarious!!!  It's like, "oh, so you thought we were defenseless, huh?  How does it feel where there is no electricity, liberals?!".  And it looks like you ain't seen nothing yet:

"PG&E, which filed for bankruptcy protection this year, had said it would significantly expand the practice of shutting off power to communities at risk of wildfire , despite objections from some consumer advocates."

This is just insane.  Next thing you know, someone will die when the power is off and they will blame it on PG&E saying that the person would still be alive if he had electricity.  This just gets more and more entertaining.  But a major take away is obvious: it's getting real out there.  All these games that liberals play are going to cost them.  Prices will go up and quality will go down to make up for it.  And then these people will wonder how it got that way.
