Neighborly, another financial engineering startup bites the dust. The reason? Their ability to take on more debt collapsed, and many, many US companies absolutely require the ability to take on more and more debt, rolling the past debt over into bigger loans so that the old debt never has to be paid off. It works until it doesn't and then you get Thomas Cook, Glint, Neighborly, and yes, even the United Nations!
The case of the UN is a bit different than the others but absolutely related. There are many "service" organizations like the UN that simply expect someone to pay them. They themselves might not have any debt (and no ability to take on debt either) but they want to get paid in order to continue keeping the "services" going (even if that service is a scam). Crooks don't work for free!! And many of these "you owe me a living" organizations rely on the ability of their constituents to take on debt.
The UN (Globalism Central) is now telling us that its members are deadbeats, owning $1.4 billion in dues. They call out blighted, failing states like Argentina as being among those who "owe them" this money. People in Argentina are suffering and bureaucrats at the UN want money diverted from that dying economy so that they can continue doing JACK SHIT and getting massively overpaid for doing it.
I'm telling you, the rise of the debt Ponzi allowed the rise of unlimited bureaucracy and bureaucrats. They are a plague, a disease. The cure for that is for all the easy liquidity (debt based money) to just evaporate. The federal reserve knows this is a threat. They call it deflation. And Bernanke has a game plan not to let honesty and fairness (AKA deflation) back into the system. His successors will eventually follow the paper he wrote in 2002 and begin buying assets for which there are no other buyers (stocks, bonds, etc.) using fake new money printed up from thin air.
Gold and silver will notice this. Trust me when I tell you, the future for precious metals is bright.
