Warren Buffett's wisdom on the stock market

There is a wealth of existing wisdom and knowledge in the world that is hidden in plain sight simply because people don't know that it exists or do not have the time to read it all.  But I recently received an email update from John Mauldin's "Thoughts From The Frontline" service which lead with this quote by Buffett:

But, like Cinderella at the ball, you must heed one warning or everything will turn into pumpkins and mice: Mr. Market is there to serve you, not to guide you. It is his pocketbook, not his wisdom, that you will find useful. If he shows up some day in a particularly foolish mood, you are free to either ignore him or to take advantage of him, but it will be disastrous if you fall under his influence. Indeed, if you aren’t certain that you understand and can value your business far better than Mr. Market, you don’t belong in the game. As they say in poker, “If you’ve been in the game 30 minutes and you don’t know who the patsy is, you’re the patsy.”
Warren Buffett (b. 1930), 1987 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Report

These words penned back in 1987 clearly express that our whole stock market and also economy is nothing but a Ponzi scheme which comes with a built in time bomb.  It's a Vegas card game and you're the Patsy - or Mark if you identify as male.  I'm still thinking about the right term to cover the gender-confused...

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists has been tracking the count down timer for many decades.  It is now 2 minutes until midnight, that same midnight that Buffet warns will cause everything to turn into pumpkins and mice.  That midnight when people's eyes are opened to the truth about what a fucking scam our fake money system is and how we have all gotten played by it and tricked into accepting fake money as if it were real.

We ain't seen bad yet but it's damned sure coming.
