When the crazy and non-credible Ford hag accused Brent Kavanaugh of a completely fabricated assault that supposedly happened decades ago, Cuomo was one of those who loudly said believe the accuser first and make the accused defend himself. After a very ugly investigation, Ford was shown to be a complete liar. Even her friends disavowed the connections to them that Crazy Ford said existed regarding the fabricated, Walter Mitty brained attack that Ford alleged.
On the other hand we have photo evidence of dirty old man Cuomo acting like he is the young lover of beautiful young women 25 or 30 years his junior. While that would be OK if that is what the woman wanted, the women have come and and said they did not want it and that the actions were habitual. I mean, what do you do if some old geezer who thinks he is some kind of gift to women walks up and "greets" you like this? Do you push his hands away and make a scene? Do you slap him in the face and start screaming at him never to touch you again? While that might be the right thing to do, it would also likely be the end of your career, the loss of your income, the loss of your home and your friends as well. At the same time, if you don't do that then people in the room seeing it happen (blue circle) will assume you are sleeping your way to the top. They will disrespect you and talk behind your back. It can also be quite career limiting.
So now Cuomo has no less than 5 meeee toooo complaints against him for sexual harassment in the workplace. But still Cuomo shows no actual shame or remorse. Still he sits there saying he will not resign. Of course this is exactly what we have to expect from as liberal: the display of a shameless dishonest double standard. Do as I say, not as I do, the rules aren't for me 'cause we made them for you.
The GOP should just stand down on this one. The opinions have already been registered and the political damage has been done. The Dems need to take their trash out on this one and if they don't then they leave themselves open to absolute ridicule in 2022. The Dems claim to be moral, etc. but letting Cuomo stay in office simply proves they are full of $hit. If they don't impeach Cuomo and throw him out of office head first and bar him from holding future office then I think the dems will be making a big mistake. So the GOP should just shut up, back down and let the dems make that mistake. Then in 2022 they can come back and throw it in their faces very publicly and remind everyone how the GOPs had to accept all of the lies whereas the dems don't want to accept all the truths. I know there are many centrist dems that are honest, honorable and good. They do not want to be associated with this bullshit. Many will jump ship if the dems don't keel haul Cuomo.
