Rats are fleeing the sinking ship. Of course these are the wealthy leaving. Poor people do not give up their
citizenship. Why are they leaving? Because they know from history what is coming
and they don’t want to be around for it.
The rich will go from being ridiculously lauded and worshipped in shows
like “lifestyles of the rich and famous” to being unfairly vilified as evil and
predatory. No amount
of taxation will be too high to levy on the evil rich. As I have said many times, when the hammer
comes around, try not to look like a nail.
This is what I think is going to skyrocket the popularity of the Bahamas
– a sovereign tax haven right off shore which is only a 3-4
hour easy boat ride from US soil.
