Bruce Lee actually wrote about human herding nature

Without using the word "herding" Bruce Lee pretty much hit the nail on the head.  The following was taken from this article and trimmed down to focus on this one aspect.  While Lee was a legendary martial artist he also did a lot of meditation and it is in these very quiet times in the mind that sometimes the greatest wisdom is discovered and made clear.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The rest is from the article ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our lack of self-awareness makes us look to others to tell us who we are. (Learning not to do that is one of life’s hardest, most important lessons.) Lee considers the perilous yet profoundly human impulse for conformity:
    We have more faith in what we imitate than in what we originate. We cannot derive a sense of absolute certitude from anything that has its roots in us. The most poignant sense of insecurity comes from standing alone; we are not alone when we imitate. It is thus with most of us! We are what other people say we are. We know ourselves chiefly by hearsay.
    There is a powerful craving in most of us to see ourselves as instruments in the hands of others and thus free ourselves from the responsibility for acts that are prompted by our own questionable inclinations and impulses. Both the strong and the weak grasp at the alibi. The latter hide their malevolence under the virtue of obedience; they acted dishonorably because they had to obey orders. The strong, too, claim absolution by proclaiming themselves the chosen instrument of a higher power — God, history, fate, nation, or humanity. At the root at our misguided grasping at self-worth, Lee asserts, is a confusion between pride and self-esteem. He examines the crucial difference between the two:
    Pride is a sense of worth derived from something that is not part of us, while self-esteem derives from the potentialities and achievements of self. We are proud when we identify ourselves with an imaginary self, a leader, a holy cause, a collective body of possessions. There is fear and intolerance in pride; it is insensitive and uncompromising. The less promise and potency in the self, the more imperative is the need for pride. The core of pride is self-rejection.
We acquire a true sense of self-worth by examining ourselves in order to identify our talents and then working hard to realize them. Action is a high road to self-confidence and [self-]esteem. Where it is open, all energies flow toward it. It comes readily to most people and its rewards are tangible. The maintenance of self-esteem is a continuous task that taxes all of the individual’s power and inner resources. We have to prove our worth and justify our existence anew each day. When, for whatever reason, self-esteem is unattainable, the autonomous individual becomes a highly explosive entity. He turns away from an unpromising self and plunges into the pursuit of pride — the explosive substitute for self-esteem. All social disturbances and upheavals have their roots in a crisis of individual self-esteem, and the great endeavors in which the masses most readily unite [are] basically a search for pride.
Debtholders overwhelmingly support debt forgiveness
First off, Merry Christmas.  I keep hearing how 2020 was a lost year by many people but it was  banner year for me.  While they walked around in masks out of fear not so much of covid but rather what the herd would think of them for running maskless, I never wore a mask and was denied entrance to a business only once.  Let the sheeple herd if they want to.  Let them be intimidated by peer pressure and unenforceable laws.  I just lived my life.  Covid was nothing more than a control mechanism and sooner or later everyone will understand it the same as I do.  What I did was an act of civil disobedience and all patriots and those with an ounce of self preservation instinct would be wise to practice civil disobedience on all of these illegal edicts and mandates.  It's just mid over matter.  I don't mind what they say because they don't matter.
Also, after having bought my retirement home in the Bahamas in late 2019, 2020 was the year I had local contractors rebuild the interior, add a dock and pilings, replace most of the roof and do a ton of other things in preparation for my move there in 2021.  If not for the covid slowdown it would have been much harder for me to find good workers to get all of this done.  For me, work here in Austin was heavy but not stressful and mostly fun.
After a rocky start which allowed not only me but some of my good friends to buy more silver coins on the dip, gold and silver had a nice year and are setting up for more gains in 2021.  Unlike stocks, gold and silver cannot go worthless.  Thus there is no need to worry about short term volatility and dips should be used to add to the pile(s).  There will come a time when everyone is piled into metals and it will be time to move wealth into other forms but for now the models say that 2021 will end up being a good year for metals.
Given that life is limited, no year can easily be counted as bad or be written off.  Hard times are coming in the next few years for those who have not prepared.  After each spring and summer come winter.  I hope everyone knows this is coming in the next few years and that gold and silver will never let you down as a long term store of liquid wealth.
Great rant by Rand Paul...
 ...but nothing will change because nothing can change without the system collapsing, civil war, the disunification of the USA.  Still, if more government would talk like this then it would be more difficult to pump the Ponzi.
Velocity of money likely bottomed
I have been telling you to watch velocity of M2 for some time now.  Well, I count 5 down here and now the rising prices are coming.  The notion that you can print endlessly without consequences is about to get a wake up call.
Got gold?  Got silver?  Got platinum?
Idiot LA liberals are finally figuring out that the government is not their friend.
At first the liberals and their Godverment appeared to be in locked step.  The cops thought that they had a seat at the table of power as did liberal voters.  But as the communists have been making their takeover play, the cops went under the bus just as I clearly predicted they would.  And now liberal small business owners are also realizing that they are being liquidated so that the big businesses can continue to do well.  This concentration of money and power is how the liberal elite are trying to take control.  This is what I mean when I say "liberals eat their own".  In bad times, the little guys are cannon fodder.  And that means any kind of bad times including war, famine, drought, and yes, pandemic.  All the little guys are shut down so that their revenue can keep the fat cat rolling.  Of course, even the fat cats end up being a piggy bank for the socialist government at some point, but each socialist layer thinks its part of the elite until they too are sacrificed for the benefit of the communist ruling class.
If you want to see this in action, watch the face of Angela Marsden, owner of the Pineapple Hill Grill & Saloon in Los Angeles as she tells her story on camera.  She actually winces when she hears how government is really trying to do the right thing.  Man is she learning a lesson.  Let's call it the George Carlin school of government: they don't fucking care about you.  At All.  At all.  At ALL.  People need to just ignore these orders.  If the city sends in cops to rough those people up, patriots then need to go track those cops down and re-educate them.  This is going to happen IMO.  People are going to get very tired of defending defending defending with no counterattack.  Whatever the cops get as a result of enforcing the shutdown and collapse of people's businesses, that is what they will deserve.  If covid is the death sentence that government would have us believe then why do so many elite ignore their own rules?  How did trump and giuliani contract it, go into hospital for one (1) day, and then come out and get on with their lives?  And why have heart attack death numbers plunged by exactly the same amount that covid deaths increased?  And why do a military swat raid on a mom who was claiming that the numbers were rigged?  These are government terror tactics and anyone who participated in this outrage needs to be hunted down by patriots and strung up by their balls.
