Time to pay attention folks. [TNX]

The TNX chart is now in major bottoming range: generational bottom here.  Watch: the fed says it will cut rates 50 bp in order to fight coronavirus.  Very soon my model predicts that the fed will lose control of the bond market.  The fed will say, "I want lower rates".  The market will say, "too bad".  The market is faaar bigger than the fed and so the market will win.

Now is coming the time when people figure out that the federal reserve is nothing but a big con game.  When the markets do the opposite of what the fed is saying then you will know it is happening.

If rates begin going up rapidly like I predict they will, markets will begin getting massive margin calls and trillions in derivatives could blow up in people's faces, literally over night.

No Ponzi ever lasted forever and it won't be different this time.

Weaponizing refugees

Turkey's Erdogan has been supporting a bunch of refugees.  Originally he threatened the world that if he was declared a terrorist that he would open the gates and send 3.6 million people into the EU.  Of late he decided that others around him must pay cash else he will unleash a refugee wave upon them which could end up changing the face of the EU.

Well, the EU, being the welcoming nice people that they tell everyone they are, freaked out and told him they would not pay.  And so Erdo kept his promise and launched a human crisis weapon into Greece where the refugees will then be able to get into the EU.

These people have been kept together in camps, etc. and so the chance is around 1000% that many of them are infected with corona virus.  So sending them to other countries is a real threat not just in terms of a crime wave and a general drain on government resources but also of a rapid spread of disease.

And so Greece fought back, tried to contain the migration but as long as Erdogan is pushing refugees that way they will come and Greece will be overrun.  And then Greece will open its borders so they pass through into other EU countries.

At the end of the day I hope they all end up in Germany.  That would be a great end to the disastrous political career of Angela Merkel whose big mouth begged for what is now happening.  And she also said anyone who didn't accept it was a bad person, blah blah blah.  Well you make your bed and then you get to lie in it, don't you.  It is not being a bad person to not want to own all the problems in the world.  These refugees are not the cream of the crop folks.  Sorry if that sounds bad but then again, why should political correctness overshadow and control the truth?

Trouble came for these refugees and instead of fighting for their land and for their right to be there, they ran away.  This is what happens when common people do not own firearms.  The wind changes just right and they are made into refugees.  When people have the means to fight back, it is very, very difficult to force them to do anything they don't want to do.

When will the world understand this?  No guns=no freedom.  And yes, it's sad that a few thousand get killed each year by gun ownership but that is apparently the price of freedom.  Anyone who thinks freedom is free should have to get time transported back to when the US was fighting the Brits for our freedom.  It wasn't free then and it's damned sure not free now.  It never will be.  But you have to choose the lessor of two evils.

So cool...

Jetman has been showing us very cool vids for a long time, but always requiring the assistance of an airplane or a helicopter in order to get to altitude where his small jet engines could then keep him aloft until running out of fuel.

But now he's doubled down on the thrust AND added thrust vectoring to create a rigid wing suit with VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) capability.  The result is very very cool.

Trump signs peace deal with Taliban

Another major milestone has just been struck in the move away from liberal globalism which is characterized by endless wars and public support for the military industrial complex.  In a move which is actually bad for the US economy, Trump has signed a deal to end the war with the Taliban.

This is important on many fronts:
  • While campaigning against Obama, Trump said he hated the endless wars but continued fighting after Obama left.  But this now represents the keeping of a campaign promise and kept campaign promises are rare as hen's teeth for liberal politicians.
  • Endless war is an endless revenue stream for the military industrial complex.  We need to move away from the long standing bankers notion that war is a mechanism of prosperity.  In fact war IS prosperity for bankers.  People who have stuff don't need to borrow money to go buy stuff.  But war breaks stuff. So it is a virtuous cycle of borrow-build-break for the bankers.  This is amoral.  In any war most of those who die are innocent noncombatants.  When you hear about "creative destruction" this is what bankers fail to tell you: lots of people always go into the meat grinder when the stuff they destroy gets destroyed.
  • Now that the focus is off of Taliban we can begin talking about who really blew up the twin towers, the Pentagon and of course WTC7, the tower that collapsed into its own footprint at the free-fall speed of gravity after nothing hit it.  It was also the tower whose collapse was pre-announced on BBC about 30 minutes before it actually collapsed.
