Pro footballers making themselves irrelevant by their political stunts

I have, in these pages, made several bold predictions that have yet to come true regarding the ongoing swing back to conservatism from liberalism in the herd.  One of these is that pro football is going to take a major step back in American society and culture.  There was a time before American football and there will be a time after American football.  All things go in cycles, no exceptions.  And the recent and growing antics by pro football players boycotting the national anthem are speeding this fate IMO.  Let me make the following observations:

• When Bush and Obama were busy reducing our freedoms and increasing the power of the state over the people, conservatives hated it but we did not burn the flag nor boycott the anthem.  You know why?  Because the country is far greater than any one administration.  Boycotting the anthem is not hurting Trump in any way.  All it is doing is increasing the divide in the population.  In fact, Trump is using these events to strengthen the emotional resolve of the up and coming conservative class.  Although I don't contribute to political funds, I just got this in the mail.

• People watching football are there to be entertained.  They are not there to be inundated with political grandstanding by the liberal left.  The fact that liberals cannot differentiate a football game from a political rally only serves to show an increasing number of their own members that left wing politics look desperate these days to the point being classified as a mental illness.
• Those who are participating in these antics have no idea what they are supporting.  They are not intelligent enough to understand that neither GOP nor dem give a rat's ass about the people.  Did life get better for the masses under Obama????  Hell no!  The middle class slid off a cliff under the reign of Mr. "You Didn't Build That".  Why do you think Dems were kicked out of the congressional majority followed by the defeat of Queen Hillary?  Under Obama the police were shooting anything that moved, especially blacks, Hispanics and people's dogs.  Obama did nothing to help the plight of those who he fooled into thinking that something for nothing was not only possible but sustainable. 
• These fools who are protesting Trump are not really protesting Trump. He has said a lot of dumb things but then again so did Obama.  But what has Trump actually done to hurt any of those protesting?  Nada.  By the time Obama left we were seeing a rise in Muslim sponsored terrorism in the US.  Where are all the terrorists now?  Could it be that closing the borders to Muslims for a period of time put a damper in their momentum?  Why isn't the press talking about this? 
• A close look at the facts, if one is adult enough to put aside the childish emotion, is that Trump protesters are not protesting the arrival of Trump as much as they are whining about the loss for their communist queen Hillary.  They believed in the bullshit utopian world that she was going to magically conjure up - a true land of something for nothing.  Now with Trump they fear that their unearned prosperity will never come.  And they are right.  It's not coming.  But it wasn't coming from Hillary or anyone else either because all of the fake prosperity was bought with debt and we now owe $20 trillion to the rest of the world.  Sooner or later they will stop loaning us all the stuff that we have gotten used to having and G-d help us if we have not done something to recover our manufacturing base by then.
