I personally have never really liked pro football very much. Sometimes the action is worthwhile but too often I have to watch a 15 minute quarter take 40 minutes to play. Also, the action is too rough to be a game IMO. Sure some people will call me a pussy for this thinking but that's a wrong characterization. If those people want to go to war with me then they will see who is and is not a pussy. But for a game why risk long term brain damage and knees that hurt for the rest of your life? In other words, that kind of physical abuse simply takes G-d given life and treats it like it was a snotty paper towel that can just be disposed of easily. Conservatives CONSERVE things. They don't waste them or act like they have no value. They appreciate what they have.
It's because of these truths that I have predicted that pro football is now going to start heading down. Recently I cited the anthem controversy as evidence that pro football players are making themselves irrelevant. Today I see new evidence that America is turning its back on the brutish bone crushing sport in the form of ESPN considering abandoning NFL football. Wow, that's really a big coincidence that I wrote about football becoming irrelevant and then a short time later we see this kind of related story. Of course I don't believe in coincidences. These things are related. Americans will turn away from porn of all kinds, including bloodsports like football and MMA. Other things will take their place. Perhaps we will even see the rise of new "sports" where there is action without the high cost of overpaid pro sports players. For example, drone racing and other things that younger people might be interested in. I watched a drone / quadcopter race once on youtube and it was interesting. It would be more so if I was watching the action through the onboard drone cameras through my VR headset.
Yes Virginia, there is life beyond overpriced elitist bloodsports whose championship games are common meeting places for human sex trade including pedo slaves. People are tired (and increasing incapable) of paying $150/ticket to go see a fricking ball game.

Are you starting to see a pattern?
For well over a year now I have been pointing to things that were happening now in a very different way than they would have happen 2-3 years ago or more. Its been a recurring theme of mine ever since calling the top of peak liberalism in conjunction with the win of the conservative Duck Dynasty over liberal A&E. I predicted that Hollywood would go into a tail spin with the "sudden discovery" of many kinds of sexual misconduct including pedophilia. This was well before Cosby got busted starting an avalanche of sexual skeletons flopping out into the public view. I also predicted that sympathy and support for all things LGBT would first diminish and then nose dive.
Today's evidence point about the correctness of my prediction can be found in the recent coming out of Kevin Spacey. As the article states, why is everyone coming down on Spacey now when a year ago he would have been hailed as a hero for his "courage" at admitting his gayness. Of course the article goes on to say that the reason is because the only reason he admitted his situation was because a boy that he pedo'd some years ago decided to come forward to complain about it. So now even gay people are condemning Spacey saying that being gay doesn't give a free pass to predatory behavior (which is of course certainly true).
Folks, this is just the start of it. Today the gay people are getting out in front of this gay pedo news by kicking Spacey but mark my words, in just a few short years it will be all of gaydom that is taking the kicking. I am no fan of homosexuality but neither is it my business to persecute them. I am not persecuting them now! In pointing this new trend out far in advance of its eventual strength I am in fact giving the smart gays advance warning that unfair treatment is coming to them and there is little anyone can do to stop it. How can the act of giving someone advance notice that something untoward is coming their way be seen as anything but good behavior? Don't shoot the messenger folks.
The liberal bent of the herd is over and conservative leaning herd is not going to side with gays, trannies and the like. I know it seems crazy to say this right now. After all, how can anyone know such things in advance of them happening? Well in fact I don't "know" anything 100% for sure. I know for 70% sure because that is the best odds that you get from Elliott waves and my predictions on societal trends are based on Elliott waves.
Gay mecca (Hollywood) is going down in flames that will make the current CA wildfires look like a Boy Scout weenie roast. Not because I want it to, simply because the herd goes in cycles and the liberal cycle is over.

Back in August of 2015 I provided the model below for 3M corp (ticker : MMM). Remember, for me red is always the primary model.
Today we see that the pullback expected back then occurred just as the model expected and now we are at new all time highs well above $180, again as the model predicted. And so here we are in the low $200s. Cramer is calling a tiny pullback up here "a gift". I am calling it "a warning".
Cramer is herding with the herd, caught up in the euphoria of share prices that never seem to abate or even take a breath. But my Elliott wave model says that a major peak is likely very near and that the shares will pull back sharply such that the line passes through both the top and bottom lines of this rising wedge before the apex of the wedge.
That is a very specific prediction based on a model, not on a gut call. Because I use time tested models I am not affected by the herding mood. I also know quite rapidly if the current model turns out to be wrong. Not all scientific hypothesis turn out to be correct! But a good hypothesis is one which can be tested in a definitive fashion so that the scientist knows to change his thinking instead of heading down a dead end not knowing when to change course (that is how pundits like Jim Cramer operate).
Please note at this point that I have not posted anything here at all about MMM since that 2015 post. Please also note that the last post was bullish in nature. So I am not some kind of perma bear. What are the odds that I will just get very lucky with my 2015 bottoming model and then again just get very lucky in my current topping model with no false steps in between. About a million to one? Higher?
