What rights do we really have?

There's a lot of talk around the world about people's "rights" these days but most of it is completely misguided and ignores not only history but present day happenings.  So before talking about what rights we actually have, we must first consider where these rights come from.

Real rights are unalienable.  That means they cannot be taken away.  I will argue that if they cannot be taken away then neither can unalienable rights be given.  But what unalienable rights do we really have?

The answer is simple: only those which you are willing and able to defend by whatever means  necessary.  When governments write things down on paper and call them "rights", what they are really trying to do is claim ownership of the power to grant rights.  They want to do this because if they are perceived has having the power to grant rights then they also have the power to take them away.  It also allows them to provide tiers of rights meaning not many for the citizen, more for the police, and a Hell of a lot for the elite.  The notion that governments can and should control rights is completely false.

But government needs everyone to believe that they do control them because getting the herd to believe something that isn't true (i.e. a con game) is how governments retain control.  Governments fall when too many people simply stop accepting their word as law.  Governments fall when too many citizens realize that the very notion of big government is a con job.

If you have to apply for government permission to do something, you do not have any rights.  Government permission might give you unrestricted access to something for a period of time but with the stroke of a pen they can remove it so only a fool will call this "rights".  Real rights cannot be given or taken by your fellow man because they do not come from man. They come from whoever created us.  And no, we did not slowly evolve from bacteria.  Some people will believe anything.  As an engineer I know good design when I see it and humans are a very good design.  We are powered by consuming objects which grow for us by themselves in the sunlight, when we are damaged our bodies can generally self-repair, we are ambulatory with a full range of motion and we can even adapt our bodies to current conditions (i.e. build muscle when needed).  Those features are not the result of random mutations.  Again, some people will simply believe anything they hear because they have outsourced their critical thinking to someone else be it a government, a church or whatever (neither of which has ever made much sense to listen to).

We all think we have the basic right to life.  Of course, that is pure bullshit.  We have the God-given capability to FIGHT for our lives and to DEFEND our lives but we have no "right" to it.  If we did then nobody would ever be wrongly killed, here in the USA by the police or abroad by US drones.  Do the 90% of innocents who are killed by our drones attending weddings or funerals have any "rights"?  Of course not and we prove it every day by killing more of them.

In South Africa the minority whites are learning the hard way that they don't have any rights and in fact never did.  The majority black government has amended the constitution to change the rights of white people living there, and not for the better.  And now they are passing law after law whose only goal is to build up a pile of government backed threats that will convince those living on the land to just leave quietly.  There will be no remuneration for this confiscation because the S. African government is broke.  The theft of the white man's farms and the socialistic (mob) redistribution of the associated wealth will happen unless the whites there can form a credible defense force and kill all comers.  I don't see it happening. I think the whites in S. Africa do not want to fight for their rights and thus they don't have any and thus they will be swept out of there.

The writing is on the wall. The government has made no secret about what it is going to do.  And if the whites there just cower in their little farm houses with their shotguns and brush rifles they will eventually be overrun by much, much larger numbers.  I'm sorry to say but the whites there have two choices:
1) Just leave.  Walk away with your family and your lives.  They want your stuff more than you do (thank you Rocket Racoon) since you are not willing to do what it takes to keep it.
2) Do whatever, and I mean whatever it takes in order to defend your "rights" to own property and live in the country.  I have some ideas what I would do if someone told me to leave my home or die. 

I don't see that kind of fire in the eyes of the white S. Africans.  Instead they call out to a world for support but nobody is responding.  The S. African government has made their actions legal and if other governments want anyone to listen to what they put into laws via the absolute scam of "due process" (wrapping a turd in bacon and then telling people its not a turd) then they cannot override the due process of another sovereign. 

It's probably best to just let the thieves have what they want.  Flee the country and go elsewhere to work and regroup.  Then, when the food production collapses because farms do not run themselves, and when the people are starving in the streets, THEN make your move, whatever that might be.  But if there is one thing I believe in its what Patton said about killing and dying in war time, "...no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor, dumb bastard die for his country."

For some time now I have been predicting the fading of American football.  Why?  Because it's essentially liberal in nature and peak liberalism has come and gone for this cycle.  For people who don't understand the link between liberalism and football, consider this. Conservatives do not purposely ruin or break things.  They know that times of plenty are not guaranteed and in fact are cyclic in nature.  Thus, they conserve what they have.  Waste not want not.

Liberals essentially live the notion of creative destruction.  Essentially, when people have everything they need, they stop buying more.  So go destroy that somehow in order to get them to buy more.  Wars are a great example of creative destruction.  Sure, lots of people have to suffer in the destruction part but at the end of the day its better for the survivors.  And the elite get to pick the winners and losers of this.  Its the essence of boom and bust.  This theme has been subtly broadcast in liberal media sources for a long time.  Did you catch the latest big example of it?  Hint: Marvel entertainment.

The answer is none other than the movie Infinity War.  Look at the title.  War for infinity.  Why?  Because without war people eventually have enough stuff, and they don't need to consume more.  So the liberal mindset is that war is good.  Now, review the theme of the movie: the most powerful guy in the universe kills half of the population in order for the other half to have prosperity.  They say it in so many words.

Things like cash for clunkers was another example of it liberal creative destruction.  Short sighted people will say, "How can it be a bad thing?  It took old cars off the road and put new more efficient ones there.  Creative destruction appears to work".  The problem is how it was paid for which is by assuming more liberal debt.  That is how creative destruction works; it is never paygo.  All the creation following the destruction must be paid for by debt.  Eventually the debt becomes so high that no more money will be loaned and so the debt itself is destroyed so they can start the cycle again.  Its called a deflationary crash.

But I digress, I was talking about the future fade of American football.  Gilbert Gottfried, in his usual clever but vulgar style, has told the truth about pro football: concussions are the sport's Achilles heel.  Kneeling is stupid, but concussions are an existential threat.  So, to Godfrey's point, anything is better than the herd focusing on pro sport brain damage.

WHY??

Because pro sports is about making money, not about playing sports.  If people get hurt or brain damaged the elite don't give two shits because what's a little creative destruction among friends?  But if people begin to understand the risk of brain damage then they are not going to play football and neither are their children.  That is not good for the elite since they need willing gladiators to train all their lives and then fight with each other to get on those pro sports teams so that they can be exploited for money.

If the herd is focusing on brain damage then mommies and daddies will not let juniors join the football team.  They will pick soccer or some other non-bloodsport instead.  This has been a threat for a long time.  But societal focus on football injuries, especially the long term kind that could be quietly happening over time to a large % of those who play the sport, could really shift the power from those running football to others running less physically violent sports.

So, all this concussion talk could easily pinch off the next generation of talent from going into the pro football meat grinder, thus sending that talent elsewhere.  Well, that would collapse viewership as the herd would follow the talent.  The elite running the football show know this.  Thus, anything is better than the discussion of concussion if you are pro football big money elite.

Liberals are getting the message one smackdown at a time by the new conservative system.

Peak liberalism is certainly upon us.  The smartest of the liberals, those at the top of the food chain, have already figured it out.  As predicted in these pages long ago, they have correctly observed the tide change and they do not want to get swept out by it.  Up until recently it was in their best interest to have the backs of their less intelligent, more easily carried away underlings.  After all, every war needs both generals and soldiers.  But the liberal generals know that the war is lost for this cycle and so they are no longer fighting the old war.  Worse yet, they are no longer backing their foolish underlings up when they make dumb, loud mistakes.

Recent case in point was a liberal Utah college TA who tried to make up her own laws in her classroom.  Those who celebrated Utah's open carry laws by open carrying were to stand at the back of the class in a punishment area.  Talk about childish.  In any case that lasted about 4 seconds before people complained, the TA had to apologize and was removed from teaching duty.  It says for a semester but it means "forever".  That "for a semester" stuff is just an attempt to save face.  The teaching career of that TA is over before it began.

This news is echoing through the halls of academia and those who would have behaved like this, thinking that the herd would have their back, are now getting the message that nobody has their back if they go full liberal like this.  Instead, they will be thrown under the next bus that comes along.  There people aligned themselves with the liberal movement because they thought it was the power structure of society.  And in fact it was.  But upon seeing so many liberal antics failing badly in the past 3 years they will be a lot more careful about what they do in support of "the cause".  Many of them will go dead center and some of them will roll all the way over to the idiotic far right.  Not because they believe in anything but simply because that's where they will feel like part of the up and coming herd.
