I've posted several times over the past year how liberal comedians who can't get off the hate Trump train are losing fans and in some cases their careers (like Griffith). It's not because Trump is sending goons to shut them up though; its because a growing number in the middle left simply don't think it is funny, appropriate or even healthy. They are in fact becoming more conservative in their thinking now that peak liberalism is behind us.
No place has this been more apparent than Michelle Wolf's recent spew of Trump-hate at the national correspondent's annual dinner. This liberal gathering should be the place where all things liberal are allowed, encouraged and applauded. Wolf's first few political attacks (AKA "jokes") received some laughter and applause but with each passing joke the approval declined at an exponential rate. The faces of the audience were clearly wishing she would move on to new material because they were just tired of the constant liberal "comedy" (AKA anti-conservative political propaganda hammering) by the liberal left.
Sensing the growing hostility toward her, Wolf then jumped the shark by insulting and accusing her her audience, "Mr. Trump, she said, “has
helped you sell your papers and your books and your TV. You helped
create this monster and now you are profiting from him.”" These wild accusations are standard fare for the liberal. They are a sort of intellectual temper tantrum. The liberal who does not get his/her way projects negativism onto those who will not herd in the intended direction, think like the talker things, and do the bidding of the manipulator. This attempt at intimidation is certainly not going to work on others who know that game as well as those attending this dinner know it. The tactics that work on the rabble will not work on the elite and it is a show of desperation to even try.
Trump is in the process of achieving a major goal - denuclearization of the Korean peninsula - yet the likes of Wolf think they are going to have him removed over "pussy grabbing" remarks. Like the title of this post says, you would have thought that they would have learned by now.

Former Zimbabwe central banker tells the truth about fake money
In a recent article, "Former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor Gideon Gono says he was forced
to print money even when he knew it would cause hyperinflation because
the government was desperate to forestall a coup by hungry soldiers."
You can read the rest of the article if you want but it will not add more useful information than the leadoff line reprinted above. Gono / Zimbabwe is a microcosm of all nations that use central banks which embrace fake money (fiat currency). Each time something happens, they use the printing presses to cover the gap. Printing up new currency devalues that already held by others. Note how Gono honestly says that "Operation Restore Legacy would have happened much earlier, but not one that we would have been commanding ourselves.".
In other words, the country was going to shit and Gono and his pals printed up currency from thin air in order stay in power as long as possibly by feeding the needless military of his country. Of course then he goes on to spin his corruption as an attempt to save lives given the humanitarian hero he obviously is, blag blah blag.
While Gono is patting himself on the back for helping to destroy a nation, let's be clear on just how he stalled off the inevitable collapse of his nation's debt Ponzi. By printing currency to give to the soldiers Gono did not print new money. All he did was devalue the currency already held by others. So all he did was tax and steal from the honest people who were trying to live under the system even though they had no idea how it worked.
Folks, if it was a scam in Zimbabwe, it's a scam everywhere. Zimbabwe's fake money system was exactly the same as all other fake money in the world. It was just a smaller flywheel but the physics were exactly the same. Fake money is a con game. When people lost confidence in the zim government, they lost confidence in the issuing authority of the fake paper and so the fake paper reverted to its intrinsic value of zilch.
Why so many people can't see that this is going to be the eventual fate of all fake paper money is beyond me. It's intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer once the scam is explained as I have done on so many occasions.

What the F happened to N. Korea???
During the Obama years North Korea made point of saying and doing increasingly crazy and bombastic shit on the world stage including threatening war with the USA about a dozen times that included a series of rants from Dear Boy Leader over there about a"big explosion" that was going to happen just as soon as he could finish getting his nuclear weapons finished. And he seemingly made pretty good progress toward this goal with multiple nuclear tests that Obama condemned (without doing jack shit about it) as well as multiple tests of ever more capable rockets to deliver a nuclear payload.
This continued into the first few quarters of the Trump administration with Trump and Korea Boy trading threats in the news. But then something happened. The dems are very quiet about it but something clearly broke N. Korea's will to continue this game. It was like a car running into a brick wall at 120 mph. Vroom, vroom, loud, loud, crash bang... silence. And then out of the wreckage of N. Korea's quest for a place at the big boy table crawled a humble, respectful, boy who wanted not only to end his nuclear quest but to make actual peace with S. Korea.
All I can say is what the fuck happened to make Kim Jong Un do such a wild 180 degree change in his behavior? He went from bad boy to lover boy in the course of about 2 weeks.

In my view its pretty clear what happened. There is only one variable that changed in the past decade in this situation and that is the arrival of Trump. Trump made it clear that he was not going to allow a nuclear N. Korea and he also made it clear that he was planning to do something about it. Trump doesn't always do the right thing but he always does something. And if that doesn't work, he quickly walks it back and goes at it from a different angle. You might not like his campaign promises of immigration control, tariffs, getting out of TPP, etc. but you have to respect that once in office he began working on all of these things and has shown good progress toward those goals in almost every case. In other words, he's not just wasting his time in office. He is getting done what those who put him in office wanted done.
After playing a big game of brinksmanship, Kim Jong Un finally realized that he was up against a man of conviction who didn't give a shit what the herd thought of him. Trump was going to do what he thought he needed to do about N. Korea bad behavior. I suspect that the US administration kept leaking the progress of a N. Korea invasion to China telling them to tell their boy that what was happening was real and it would be the end of the North Korean Tutankhamen. They probably told him what he needed to do in order to remain living and so here he is doing it on the world stage.
What's even more interesting is that only the most rabid brain dead left it withholding credit from Trump for this outcome. CNN, NYT,MSN and many other liberal strongholds are actually saying that Trump deserves credit. They are not saying he deserves ALL of the credit mind you, just "credit". So it's not like they are actually being fair and impartial in this matter. It's just that the win was so overwhelming that they cannot deny it any more.
Trump deserves ALL of the credit for this. It only got worse and worse until Trump showed up and then all of a sudden it not only got better, it got great again. If something bad happens under a Trump plan he will get ALL of the blame even if subordinates were carrying out the day to day on the plan. So when something goes right under his direction he must in all fairness get ALL the credit. Fair is fair.
Now then, let me tell you that a lot of politically liberal folks who were borderline anti-Trump are going to see this and they will be astounded. Liberals are easily scared by their own shadow. It's why leadership uses threat of bad things happening to heard them around. Conservatives less so. Everyone has some mix of conservative and liberal traits and so I am clearly NOT saying that all politically liberal people are cowards. In fact, most of my friends who define themselves as politically liberal have many, many conservative traits. They go to work every day, pay their bills, hold their families together, etc.
What I am saying is that it is a liberal trait to be too worried about threats that don't have much chance of occurring. The threat of terrorists, for example, is how liberals were pushed around after 911 even though it was clear that our own liberal government was very involved in that act. If you want to see liberals herding other liberals around, look for the word "horrific" in their statements.
But the point is that they will be astounded and relieved at this outcome. If you want to befriend a liberal, help them feel safe. Well, Trump just took a bunch of pressure, whether real or imaginary, from the minds of millions of liberals. Hawaii, for example, just recently told its people to take shelter from a nuclear missile attack. Do you think that did not have liberal Hawaiians on edge? I mean that warning came from the government. But now the threat of this happening again has absolutely collapsed. Do you think no liberal Hawaiian will appreciate the fact that Trump was at the helm when this happened?
For those of you with eyes to see, a picture is worth a lot more than 1000 words.
