Thin blue line? What line?

There is a long standing custom that cops don't talk bad about cops.  Not in their own division, their own force, or any force in the country.  Why?  Because all of them live in glass houses so who wants to be the first to start a rock fight!

Well, as I indicated would be a sign of the impending collapse of the global debt Ponzi, the organized crime syndicate known as big government is now turning on itself and telling on itself.  I have dubbed this new propensity the "tattle battle".  Today's installment is former NYC police commissioner Bernard Kerik.  Despite he himself having been a willing pawn of the liberal New York political structure, Kerik is out in full public attack of the Broward County Sheriff's Office.  Kerik called the alleged cowardice of the BCSO "outrageous" and then followed this up with a recommendation that the officers involved be charged with criminally negligent homicide.

Talk about outrageous!   When have we ever heard this kind of top level brass talking about throwing fellow cops under the bus so hard like this when he could instead have picked up the tired old gun grabber response to mass shootings?  That would be, um, approximately never.  Yet here we have it, blue on blue media wars.

So why is Kerik doing this?  He's no longer the NYC police commish yet he's flapping his gums and creating a breeze?  What's the purpose.  Well in my view the criminals of big government all know they are being overpaid.  Their retirement pension promises are huge at a time when nobody else in the working public gets a retirement.  Why did they get this massive perk?  Simply because the fooled everyone into thinking that it would result in better security by attracting and retaining heroes.  But with the BCSO show of mass cowardice, that notion is blown apart.  This BCSO fiasco will service to awaken many liberals who would have been very quick to praise the police in the past.  Going forward they will not be so confident in police and without confidence then why participate in the funding of their imaginary security con game?

Yes, that's right.   Kerik's remarks and recommendations are only there to bolster confidence in the police by the public.  He needs to paint these 4 individual BCSO officers as bad apples, very bad.  Massively negligent to the point of deserving prison bad.  He wants to send the message the cops do not have the choice to hide cowering behind their cars in an active shooter situation while those who pay them are slaughtered.  At first these kind of remarks will give some people more confidence but it will not last long.  More people will lose confidence in the cops over this than anything.  Kerik's words are just words.  17 people are still dead because of massive failure of law enforcement and anyone who tries to turn this tragedy into yet another futile gun grab is going to draw back a bloody stub.

Delta and United living in the past

Delta and United airlines have come forward to punish the NRA based on Florida school shooting.  Generally when these things happen, those doing the boycotting are seen as the hero and those being boycotted are seen as the bad guy.  But at major turning points in herd think those long standing norms fail, thus giving us another signal that things are changing.  Think of it like a stock chart where support has been tested several time and always held but that eventually support fails to hold and the old trend is thus confirmed to have been broken.

The companies in question used their smug little elite speak phrase to communicate their move, "we reached out to the NRA".  Oh they must be feeling so powerful by spewing this liberal speak! It just adds to my conviction that it will blow up in their faces.  The first indication that things will likely be different this time was the response by the NRA which strongly accused these companies of "a shameful display of political and civic cowardice".  Folks, this is not what you hear from someone who feels shame.  I am not an NRA member because I do not feel the need to herd that way but I do think that the NRA will turn out to be correct in their assessment that, "In time, these brands will be replaced by others who recognize that patriotism and determined commitment to Constitutional freedoms are characteristics of a marketplace they very much want to serve".

I see this as another deal like A+E vs. the Duck Dynasty.  It is a test that I think the major names who decided to pander to liberals will soon find out was a dumb move.  It would not surprise me to see their sales fall off a cliff and for them to come running back to the table to make a new, even more lucrative offer to NRA members for using their service.  Why?  Because liberals have no real moral convictions!  They say what they think everyone wants to hear and they say it in order to self aggrandize.  When it turns out that saying it resulted in t a negative outcome they will do a Piers Morgan style reversal and will begin loving conservatives again.

Yes I know this is a bold prediction that some will view as even being reckless.  But given my track record for predicting these outcomes, even the most dyed in the wool liberals will begin to give me some initial benefit of the doubt.  I mean, how many times does anyone want to be fooled over and over again?  When you see someone who has demonstrated a world view that enables at least some degree of predictive forecasting maybe its time to listen to the message quietly for a while and let time test the veracity of the statements.  Everyone is a mix of liberal and conservative traits.  Everyone.  All you have to do is to stop being so worried about what others think and begin to think for yourself and the conservative side of you will get its day in the sun.

The truth about polls

It is a well know fact that figures don't lie but that liars can figure.  And they can conduct polls as well.   Newsmax reports on a recent USA Today poll about gun control indicating that "we" cannot expect congress to do much about gun control even though "we" overwhelmingly support it.  A CNN poll concurs, "we" all want more government gun control.

There it is in black and white, "we" overwhelmingly want gun control but its our liberal congress that is for some reason against it.  Probably because the NRA controls everyone, etc.

Well here is my take: if you want a real mirror on what the public is thinking, look not at what politicians say but what they do.  The NRA cannot get anyone elected.  They can provide bribes to elected officials if they want to just like liberal lobby groups can.  But if you want to get elected or re-elected then you better listen to the people and at least act like you are working in their interests. So I can only laugh at the poll data provided by liberal USA Today and the ultra liberal Clinton News Network (CNN) AKA Fake News Central.

Lemme ask you something.  If I walk into a gay bar a take a poll about gays getting special rights over the rest of us (AKA "gay rights") what do you think the outcome will be?  Do you think it will be the same outcome as the same poll taken at a church?  Of course not.  So just forget the polls fed to you by main stream media.  Instead, watch what POTUS, SCOTUS and congress are doing.  These are all very intelligent people who know which way the wind is really blowing in aggregate.   Their actions will tell you what the rest of the herd is really thinking in aggregate.

Look what Trump offered the liberal anti gun crowd after the Fl school shooting - some mention about getting rid of a fringe self defense item like bump stocks.  I would not own a bump stock.  You cannot have good control over your weapon when it is fired using recoil to help press the trigger repeatedly. Watch for yourself here.  It's just a great way to waste ammo.  It might be of some small use in a large scale warfare situation where many attackers are present and only as a way of laying down cover fire. In other words, spray lead in the direction of the enemy so that they keep their heads down while elements of your forces use the cover to re-position, collect wounded or other tasks.

In fact experienced gun owners know that full auto is in the same boat as bump stock "auto".  Watch for yourself here.  And note how close the targets are.  Try that from 100 yards and you might not hit anything with full auto whereas experienced shooters like hickok45 who runs that Youtube channel would hit at least 9/10 of those water jugs in semi auto mode from 50 or even 100 yards.  He is right, full auto is for Rambo movies, not for real tactical self defense.  And bump stocks are even less accurate than full auto making them even more stupid for self defense.  So Trump's talk about banning them is obviously not a real poke at legit gun owners.  It's mainly to shut up liberal anti gunners who have zero understanding about the use of guns and most of which have never fired or even held a gun before.

This is where is gets ugly for the liberal gun grabbers

In the past when some tragic gun related incident would happen, the liberals would just focus on the fact that a gun was used in the crime and the media would happily ignore all other factors leaving the most stupid or gullible among us with no other choice but to conclude that there would be no crime if only guns were declared illegal and removed from the hands of citizens of the Republic.

With the recent Parkland FL school shooting, however, the liberal political windfall of a gun slaughter event is not turning out as expected.  This time we are finding out the whole story (and there is ALWAYS a "whole story" folks even if liberal media of the past has not reported on it).  We are learning that the disturbed kid, whose head was clearly squirming like a toad, had seen many police visits for disorderly and antisocial behavior.  He had bragged that his goal was to become a "professional school shooter" (see note 1 below).

We are also finding out that the officer whose specific job it was to protect the school pussed out and left the students and teachers to their own devices running and hiding in closets and the like as if that is any kind of intelligent defense against an active shooter.   And more recently, we are finding that others from the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) ALSO pussed out.  That's right, no less than three other BCSO) officers arrived at the school during the shooting and instead of going in with their bullet proof vests, they cowered behind their cars while everyone was being slaughtered inside.  No police actually entered the building until Coral Springs city cops showed up to actually do their jobs.  Armed with these FACTS and despite ridiculous claims of "Amazing leadership" by the police administration, the NRA has come out swinging with allegations that the Broward County Sheriff's Office is guilty of dereliction of duty.

OK so this liberal political windfall and their notion of "never let a serious crisis go to waste" is now suddenly blown up in their faces.  Since the media is a reflection of the herd and since the media is actually reporting these negative facts about the establishment, I can only conclude that a significant number of people are now blaming the police for the extent of this crisis, perhaps even more so than the gun this time.  And to that I can only say that the worm has turned.  This is a third wave event in the decline of liberalism.  The notion that big brother can be trusted to take care of us is being dashed to the ground.  The view that all cops are heroes has been exploded and we are finding that many cops are actually cowards unless they get the perfect setup for an assault with all factors in their favor.  This can no longer be viewed as a one off event.  Yes, good cops do exist and the proof of that is that Coral Springs officers entered the building to do their job as BCSO cowered outside.  But the notion that all cops are heroes or even that all cops are good has been exploded in a very public way.  The big take away here for the herd is that you are an idiot if your only plan for personal security is to count on police to not only be there when you most need them, but to actual be brave enough to do the job they signed up for and which they are being paid for.

Warren Buffett once said that,"Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked".  He was referring to the financial markets but the applicability of that truth is much broader.  The liberal tide is now in ebb and so we are finally going to see how a massive part of big government is just a different kind of organized crime, loaded with fraud, waste and abuse.  YES there are some needed government agencies.  And YES many government workers perform a valuable service.  NO the government should not have a publicly funded pension system since nobody in the real world gets one.  And NO the government should not be immune from its own rules thus creating a political caste system.  Cops who see other cops break the law should immediately and without hesitation treat the situation just like they would if you or I were caught in the act.  Politicians should have to live under the same rules and laws that they put in place for the rest of us.  All of these changes are coming folks.  BIG changes are coming and no amount of liberal scheming, whining, manipulating, covering up of the facts, etc. is going to change that because the herd has woken up finally and the pendulum is swinging back toward the right.

NOTE 1:There's something about that statement of his that is a bit haunting to me because the meaning of professional is that someone is paid for their work.  I wonder who gave him the notion that killing his classmates could result in payment.  I set that aside for now but it would not surprise me to find that there is an invisible hand guiding these shooters to their tasks in order to achieve their political goals.  Yes, you can laugh at the notion but don't laugh too hard because if someone had told you that the IRS was discriminating against conservatives a few years back that would have been a laughable notion as well.  Until, of course, it was found to be absolutely true.  All I'm saying is that it is foolish to think that evil doesn't exist.  It does and it runs deeper than most people can fathom IMO.

San Antonio resident demonstrates proper gun control

A resident of San Antonio TX today demonstrated excellent gun control.  Mysanantonio.com has the story.  Apparently, some useless crook came to his door in the middle of the afternoon and forced his way inside using a gun in an attempted home invasion.  In response, the resident did not try to run and hide in a closet as the government would have instructed him to do so in these circumstances.  Instead, this exceptionally well prepared person produced a gun and blasted the life out of the dirtbag robber, all without apparently getting injured himself.  That is some really excellent gun control!

And so I ask my readers, where were the cops in all this?  How could even the best police officer out there possibly be where he needs to be when he needs to be there in order to keep people safe?  HE CAN'T!  How is it possible that so many head in the sanders cannot fathom this obvious truth?  The Texan who relieved the bad guy of his worthless life certainly would have been robbed blind had he not been fully prepared and trained and proficient with a fire arm.  PERIOD.  The thug went to his house with a clear purpose.  Had his wife been home he might have had to sit there tied up as she was raped.  Had his children been home they might have been bundled off and sold into slavery.  It happens folks.  And of course the robber might just have killed everyone in order to leave no witnesses.

Yet the government would have us all feel guilty for owning guns and taking charge of our own personal security.  It's obvious why they do it - money, power and control.  All of the weaknesses of the flesh are the reason.  What's not obvious is why everyone cannot see how damned stupid it is to even listen to someone try to shame you out of your right of self protection.  Fortunately for my fellow Texan, he did not listen to the liberal story line and he did not buy into the government monopoly on maintaining law and order.  He will be alive to talk about it for years to come as a result.  I wish everyone else who has needed a gun for self defense but did not have one could say the same.
