The coward of Broward cashes in on the backs of the working class

It used to be that public "servants" would quietly rip us off and nobody seemed to care.  But now, with the new conservative wave upon us, the herd is suddenly looking around at what is going on and the herd is not happy.  And when the herd becomes unhappy, changes will be made because the herd always gets what it stands up and demands.

In this case, Newsmax reports that the Coward of Broward, Scot Peterson, is now collecting a very shiny pension of well over 8 grand a month for having retired before he was fired from the Broward County Sheriff Dept.  Yes, Scot Peterson now receives $8700 from the people of Florida for the rest of his life for sitting on his fat, useless, coward ass after letting all those kids perish without engaging in battle as he was being paid to do.  I think there is a fair chance that public outcry is going to claw this pension back somehow.  It is going to be interesting to watch.

But think about it.  Most of us do not make $8700 a month for working full time, and some of us can't make that for working two jobs.  But Scot Peterson sold out to the big brother police state and now he gets that much money forever.  And he's only 55 years old!  What do you think we are going to get when we retire?  I think the answer is "fucked".

So now you know.  Peterson is not the only "hero" police and fire and other public employee that is cashing in on the rest of us.  This is slavery.  We have all been enslaved and these people are our masters as long as this pension bullshit is allowed to continue.  I don't get a pension, you don't get a pension so why should they get pensions that WE have to pay for?  It's a corrupt rip off!  All of these plans need to be done away with and public workers can have 401k savings plans like the rest of us NOT GUARANTEED retirements.  ALL of these retirement plans need to be defaulted on immediately.  It is outrageous that these people get paid more in retirement than 90% of the working class gets paid during our working years.

This is the kind of shark jumping that marks tops.

Financial media does an interview with someone we never heard of but they act like he's someone we should listen to with their sit down interview.  That person goes on to make sweeping bullish predictions about having to stay in the markets because they will obviously double every 10-12 years.

This is pure idiocy.  He doesn't say where all that free wealth will come from, simply that it will materialize.  This guy is just herding with the herd.  I guess he never studied other stock markets around the world like Japan.  Did it double every 10-12 year?  Why not?  Are Americans so "exceptional" that our markets will behave differently?

Truth is, all stock markets are pyramid schemes.  They do not generate any value.  The price appreciation is all due to speculation unless dividends are being paid and dividends as a percentage of market cap are minuscule now.  They will pay you 2-3% for holding their risky paper for a YEAR when 10% of the value of your shares could evaporate in a DAY.

These markets are overvalued and volatility is back.  This whole "stocks are safe in the long term" line is just Wall St. sales bullshit.  The stock market is gambling, not saving.  It is not a long term store of value.  It is a boom/bust machine just like any other pyramid scheme.  Sounds crazy until it happens so laugh if you want.

By the way, my Elliott wave models call for a market peak today with stocks beginning to sell off tomorrow.  My subscribers know exactly what to look for in the charts.  Everyone else is just making unsubstantiated gut feel calls.  My model could turn out to be wrong.  They are wrong about 30% of the time.  But we know with a few pennies that the model has become invalidated.  No other market timing mechanism can do this.

If you want a free trial, email me at captaincharts@gmail.com from a google gmail account (they are easier to invite to the google blogger platform that my subscriber account is based on).  I don't need any financial commitment or card numbers, etc. for this first ever free trial offer.  But you at least need to provide your real name (verification process will be explained when you sign up) so that I don't get the usual cheap ass turds trying to use 5 different emails for free service.  1 free trial per verified person.

This 30 second video could save your life...

This recent video shows how a man with a gun approached another man who was parked at a gas pump.  It looked like a typical car jacking was about to happen but the guy getting gas had both situational awareness (i.e. knew what was going on around him) and an effective means of self defense (i.e. a gun).  The good guy won, the bad guy died.  That is how it is supposed to be.  The gun grabbers did not report on this obviously.  I'm still rolling my eyes at how the school administrators in PA gave teachers baseball bats to defend themselves with.  Had the guy at the pumps pulled out a baseball bat to defend himself they could have later used the wood from that bat to make the cross for his grave.

Don't be a victim folks.  Can't you see how everyone is angry at everyone right now for no good reason?  What do you think is going to happen when the government must eventually cut back on free benefits for those who have gotten so used to structuring their very existence around the presence of these vote-buying gifts?  Do you think they are just going to lay back and die of starvation and exposure once they are evicted from their section 8 housing?  Now is the time to start thinking about how you can protect yourself and your family.  We ain't seen bad yet but the ground is rumbling because hooves are on the move now.  Buy a gun and ammo.  Get proficient and stay proficient in its operation.  Carry it with you when and where you can.  Don't be a victim.

Trump shocks liberal media with nuclear option

I'll say it again for the benefit of the cheap seats: I personally do not like Trump.  I didn't like his apprentice show and I don't like to watch him doing the same thing in the office of the president.  Also, I am sure he has screwed whatever woman threw herself at him and perhaps even some that did not.  But if I am in a battle I don't want the nice guy, I want the results guy and Trump is achieving the results that he promised his constituency.   Maybe you don't like all of those promises but those were the promises that got him elected and so he should be measured against them (and little else IMO).  Those who cannot internalize this concept need to wake up.  Trump won.  Time to move on.

Despite many good things that Trump has been doing like getting Americans released from N. Korean prison, de-nuclearizing the Korean peninsula, ending the long standing cold war between N and S Korea, getting us out of treaties that served globalization (so that we could all labor under a foreign lord with a local police force) and many other things, the media print little except negative stuff about him.  Because of this, Trump just floated his ability to invoke the nuclear press option: taking away the credentials of the white house press staff from the various fake news agencies.

Now, these liberal media outlets have gotten used to controlling presidents with what they write.  The pen is more powerful than the sword, blah blah blah.  But that only works when polite society is running the show.  If you say "fuck" at the black tie event opera you will be ushered out.  If you say it at the truck docks it will be considered normal conversation.  In that setting, if you don't say it enough, you might even be mistaken for gay.  The liberal media still acts like liberal people are in charge.  But since everyone is turning more conservative the liberal media doesn't have nearly as much power as it used to.  90% negative "news" has resulted in notable improvement in approval ratings even in liberal Florida.  So clearly there is negative divergence there and the herd is always right in these matters.

The WH press corps probably thought that no president could survive cutting them off; their entitlement to special access would remain no matter how badly they abused and pissed on it.  But Trump is right in this matter: if they are not going to be fair and balanced then why should he deal with them?  Are these people really entitled to special audience simply because other presidents have done it that way?  I say they are not.  Trump could kick all of their worthless asses out and then use, for example, weekly written "status of the union" reports discussing in bullet form the things he is working on, the successes and failures and roadblocks, etc.  You know, just like my direct reports would give me when I was a high tech development manager.  It was concise and it was very efficient with my time.  Why does the president's progress have to be a story told with flowery language by a bunch of self important hypocrites?  Let them go report whatever they want on their own for that is their right but it is not Trump's job to stand up there and be their public punching bag.  THAT'S PACK-BULLYING.  They are doing to Trump exactly what they say grade school kids should not do to each other.

The press corps has now seen the 16 inch shell fired out of the main battery on Battleship Trump and it splashed loudly in front of their dinghy.  They know he is not bluffing; they have seen what he will do if determined to do it.  And so now while they are whining and licking their wounds they must consider that which all liberals fear: their actions might come back to haunt them personally.  Liberals are not used to being held personally accountable.  They are used to having The Organization take the hit for them.  But I ask you, what happens to these people if Trump simply revokes their White House access credentials?  DOOP! They will be on the street the next day looking for a new job.  And make no mistake, that makes it personal.  Since liberals have no real convictions they are always the first to tuck tail and run when they become aware that they personally are in the gun sights.

Because of this I predict that the press corps will rapidly soften its tone regarding Trump.  Not because their convictions have changed any (because they never had any to begin with) but simply in order to save their own worthless assess from the unemployment line.

Trump secures release of 3 Americans held captive by N. Korea.

Many are still saying that N. Korea is lying about disarming its nukes, etc. but I don't think so.  It has, after all, agreed to allow US compliance inspectors into its country to ensure that all the programs are shut down.  And yes, US intelligence certainly knows where all the nuclear skeletons are buried there.  So this whole anti-Trump "Lucy will pull away the football at the last second in order to embarrass and discredit trump" narrative that is now being offered to people who cannot believe that Trump could do anything right is now growing stale.  That's because if N. Korea were playing a game then they would not give up the 3 American prisoners that they are holding.  But today we read that the prisoners were not only let out of jail, but they have left the country as well.  No matter what happens next, Trump is up in points in this chess match with Baby Kim.  Trump took a knight and his opponent got bupkis AFAIKT.

Buffett:Bitcoin is "rat poison"

I predicted a long time ago that with peak liberalism would come peak Buffett worship.  Buffett should just shut up and quit while he's ahead but instead he's out with more bad advice each week such as telling people that they should continue to stay in the stock market into retirement.  Today's he's giving more bad advice, this time calling Bitcoin "rat poison".

If bitcoin is rat poison then it implies that those who like it are lowly rats.  Why not just call these people a basket of deplorables like career criminal Hillary did?  Nobody likes to be talked down to and this is going out of character for Buffett to do so.  It smacks of desperation.  After all, how is the dollar really any different from bitcoin?  Both are worthless fiat currencies.  The only difference is that one of them is government controlled and the other is not.  Does his statement that "bitcoin is an asset that produces nothing" not apply equally well to the US dollar and all other currencies?  Does that mean they are rat poison too?

It is a matter of record on my subscriber site that bitcoin was near a significant bottom according to my wave count (I bought in the low $10 range as documented there, now trading for $15.09).  So long as the market agrees with what Buffett is saying he will continue to be idolized by sheeple.  But when those same sheeple lose big money (whether in principle losses or as a result of having missed the train leaving the station) for having listened to him, the herd will turn on him and his legacy will be trampled.  Peak liberalism will also be peak Buffett.  You heard it here first.

Everyone scrambling to the conservative side of the ship

I just got an email informing me that Charles M. Schultz has just put out a new conservative leaning Peanuts book for kids.  Of course Schultz, AKA "Sparky" died in Y2K so this is really not by him at all but rather by his estate with the help of a 3rd party illustrator.  In other words, it's conservative but not as much as it might seem since it is really not "by" Schultz.  In other words, liberal tricky wording is still there even though the directional lean has clearly shifted in the expected direction.  This kind of thing will help the next generation of kids grow up to be much more centrist, much less adoring of big government and other liberal constructs.

Finally! A new children's book that doesn't promote the tired old liberal agenda. The Peanuts gang has built a wonderful new tree house! Everyone wants to share it—everyone except Lucy, who takes over the tree house and says everyone has to obey her. But Charlie Brown and the others don’t want to be ruled by Lucy! Luckily, Linus remembers how the American colonists stood up to the British King a long time ago with the Declaration of Independence. Can the Peanuts gang learn from the colonists and stand up to Lucy?
