Interesting post from The Medium

The Medium is a middle of the road liberal online magazine.  This does not mean everything they write is centrist, it simply refers to the fact that the average read will be centrist.  I still see some pretty lefty things being written there, such as how capitalism is the blame of everything (even though thinking people know that capitalism requires capital, that debt is not capital, and then everything has become debt since we left the gold standard in 1972).

But those things are generally counterbalanced by right leaning (and more right headed) thinking such as today's article which discusses the ongoing migration of the herd from left to right.  In short, the working class (AKA the herd) has lost confidence in the authorities behind liberalism.  As I have written many times, the various shark jumps by the left have not gone unnoticed by the herd and the migration from left to right is now clearly under way.  You can see it in many places like the loss of Hillary which I clearly predicted, movements like "Walk Away", massive dirt turning up on liberal things like planned parenthood and more recently The Grammys, etc.  And this latest article by Medium proves that I am not the only one who sees it happening now, even if their take is a bit more left leaning,

"Without the working class on the side of the left, no coalition can be forged that delivers better lives for a whole society. Only regress can happen."

Well, this is nothing more than saying that the herd is all powerful.  The notion that only regress can happen if the herd is not moving left is simply the left lean of the author.  It implies that the herd doesn't have good reason for doing what it is doing when in fact the herd always acts in the direction of perceived self interest.  But the author is correct in saying that if the herd is not going your way then nothing is going to go your way, and right now the herd is moving to the right regardless of apparent lamentation of this fact by the author.

The truth is more simple: the left sold its constituents out just like the extreme right does whenever it cycles back into power.  There are power mad fucks on either side of the bell curve of social mood.  Absolute power always corrupts mankind even if this man or that can avoid the temptation (cough cough Ron Paul cough cough). 

The herd is now migrating to the right in search of better pastures and so everything will push to the right over time in order to be where the herd is when the herd is there.
