Alabama outlaws and criminalizes abortions

Well there it is again, that old conservative wind-a-blowin'.  Why, it was just back in February of this year that I wrote, "With the conservative wave affecting how everything thinks, we must expect to see major legislation come out soon that steps on all of these grass roots attempts to make it legal to abort at birth".  And so we see that Alabama gov. Kay Ivey has signed significant anti-abortion legislation into law.  And it's not just any old law.  The article says, "The new law is the most restrictive anti-abortion measure passed in the United States since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.".  This is no hand slap law.  It will put a doctor in jail for life on just a single count of this felony.

And to top the bill, Ivey commented on it as follows, "Today, I signed into law the Alabama Human Life Protection Act.  To the bill's many supporters, this legislation stands as a powerful testament to Alabamians' deeply held belief that every life is precious & that every life is a sacred gift from God.".  Well there she gone and done it.  She justified the harshness of the law (NO exceptions for rape or incest!) by invoking the name of G_d.

The pendulum is swinging, folks.  Don't be in the way of it when it blows through because it is going to upset so many long standing liberal apple carts that many will scarcely be able to believe it.
