In case you were not aware, cops have been shooting people's dogs like it was nothing for quite some time now. Young, old, sick, healthy, barking, running away, it hasn't mattered much. Cops have the need to shoot things while hiding behind their badges and dogs have been on the losing end of the deal. So today's disturbing fucked up cop video shows how a woman saved her dog's life from a cop who was ready to pull the trigger.
In short, the cops were called by someone even though all they do is bring death and violence with them wherever they go. Never call the cops folks, there is too high a chance that you or yours will end up dead or in chains. In any case, cops show up and then approach the house where a chained up dog happens to be. The dog moves to the end of his chain to greet the stranger on his property and the cop acts like his life is in danger. He pulls his gun and draws a bead on the dog. But instead of just automatically firing, his subconscious makes him pause, probably because his herding instinct is telling him that open season on everything has not been working out so well for cops of late.
Well, he has several seconds to see that the dog is on a leash and in fact tail is wagging and the dog is sort of just milling about, not straining at the leash to get to him. In fact this goes on long enough for a young woman to trot over and stand between the cop and the dog. She does not touch the cop or even come close to it but the cop is clearly dismayed at the fact that she just removed the live/die decision from his hands. So he grabs the small woman by one hand and using his steroid-pumped strength, throws her to the ground carelessly like she was an old shirt and not a living, breathing human being who had done no wrong.
At this point his cop buddy walks over to sort of say, "OK, tiger, chill out, it's just a 98 lb woman you are tossing around like a toy". But officer steroids has now been humiliated in his own mind and so the woman has to be arrested for the non crime of saving her dog's life. She gets manhandled over to the car by officer angry steroids during which process the partner cop makes another move to slow him down a bit. But the 2nd cop is clearly intimidated by the first cop and doesn't want to cross the thin blue line (hey 2nd cop, how does it feel to be a PUSSY?).
In the past cops used to get away with this kind of thing on a daily bases but because of the new conservative wave this has "winning lawsuit" written all over it. Now, who pays these awards to victims? Taxpayers. And taxpayers are tapped out. So I think this cop will see personal blow back from his actions and I suspect his partner will reluctantly admit that in his estimation the angry steroid cop used excessive force. In other words, he will be more affected by the overall sentiment of the herd than of his pack leader.
