Break into the home of a gun holder, get charged with your partner's murder.

You might have seen this story where a near-senile old man walked in on a robbery of his home.  A man and a woman were trying to break into his gun safe.  The robbers jumped the old man but then apparently decided he was not a threat and basically made him watch as they tried to rip him off. Needing tools to get the safe open, the male robber left the room for a moment.  The victim slipped away, got a gun and tried to shoot the robbers.  Both of them apparently were able to flee the structure into the alley.  The male robber was was faster than the woman and so he got away.

But the woman, who apparently had time to beg for her life and to tell the would-be victim that she was preggy so could he please not kill her, was not so lucky.  The old fart proudly proclaimed to anyone who would listen, including a reporter who caught it on video and to the police that he killed her as she fled by shooting her twice in the back with a .22 caliber pistol.  Again, this was after she begged for her life.

Now, before the swing toward conservatism, there were lots of similar cases and people got in trouble for shooting and killing or even for shooting and missing if the perp was no longer a threat.  In many cities a home owner had to retreat to the bedroom and prove that he was in imminent danger before shooting otherwise you were at serious risk of legal rebuke.  The liberal laws made the gun owner a criminal first and a victim second.  Why?  Because it made any sense?  Of course not!  Simply because all the funny money was funding police and so there were too many of them.  They thus demanded to be our protectors even if that was an impossible promise to fulfill.  They sought to dissuade and intimidate, through liberal interpretation and execution of the force of law, anyone who thought they were responsible for self defense.  It was basically the law enforcement version of a union-dominated situation: "that's MY job and I will punish anyone who tries to do it for me".   But now that the money supply has stopped expanding and the credit portion is shrinking, police are being told to tighten their belts, police departments of small towns are shutting down and outsourcing to the sheriff office etc.  More than a few small cities are defaulting on police pensions.  Just Google for these facts, I don't have time to link all of them right now...

But times they are a changing.   Instead of there being a ridiculous burden upon the gun owner who wants nothing more than self defense, the rules and legal view of actions taken by homeowners are swinging to the other end of the scale.  That old man was in control of the situation as soon as the crooks started running.  Shooting the lady in the back was clearly a revenge killing because, by the man's own admission, she had time to beg for her worthless life before he shot her twice in the back.  In years past he would be hung out to dry by the liberal legal system.  Instead the DA is "considering charges".  I predict none of any consequence will be filed.  However, the male partner of the dead woman is being charged with murder for her death.  I don't see how two people can be charged with murder of the same person so the old man will get a slap on the wrist.

This post is not a defense of the perps.  I'll leave that to dumb-ass liberals who like to ignore the logic that nobody would have gotten killed had they not tried to rob the guy.   Instead, this post is a warning to all perps about the new rules.  The herd is reading about this and they are seeing the police reaction.  Even I have been swayed by it.  If someone breaks into the house then shoot first and ask questions never.  If someone is fleeing the house with your property and has not jumped the back fence yet, gun them down if you can.  At the very least you will save the next guy from property loss and potentially a dangerous encounter with a ne'er do well.

Before this crash is over, I suspect that people will be chasing looters down the block and executing them gangland style and the cops will be siding with the property owners.  No, the shooters won't put it like that on the report but that will be the truth of the matter.  Sound crazy?  It's not and I will tell you why right now.  When their paychecks were coming from credit expansion, the cops began to turn their noses up at home owners.  They were tired of hearing our complaints, tired of hearing how we pay their salary and they seemed to no longer need us.  They were going to get paid because money was coming into existence from thin air (credit) and all they had to do was to align themselves with those powers to get more pay, benefits, pensions AND societal power than police are supposed to have. And for a long time that is exactly what happened.  Thus, it became open season on homeowners where the cops would break into your house at the drop of a hat on "suspicion" of drug possession.  They would come in 10 at a time, SWAT style.  They would shoot your dog no matter the breed "for their safety".  The homeowner was an inconsequential piece of shit, something to look down upon with disdain from the lofty perch of the position of state centurion.  In some states it is still operating like this; the pendulum is just starting the swing.  It is still early.

But with that magick money source evaporating, us property owners aren't looking like such bad people after all.  In fact, our property taxes do pay their salaries and they will have to be asking for more taxes to make up for the shortfalls that are coming due to the shrinking (deflating) money supply.  They will have to learn a whole new way of dealing with us.  The process will not be quick but it will be sure.  Expect cops to start getting sent to jail for violating homeowner's right.  That will send a big message.  Expect the state to stop backing every dumb ass move they make and instead to begin to hold them to a higher standard.  Again, not because they want to but because they have to.  Money makes the world go 'round and the credit based portion of that money supply is drying up.  Any cops reading this will be well advised to get ahead of the curve.  Treat your local homeowners like the boss because, you sons of bitches, we ARE.
