Obamacare being exposed as ridiculous.

When Obama got into office he promised to "spread the money around".  Since then he has ensured that the banking elite have gotten their share of the spread while pandering to economically ignorant sheeple about what they were going to get as part of the fleecing of the evil rich people.

Enter Obamacare.  Obama's new rules will try to force more employers to provide more free benefits if they want the pleasure of doing business in our completely un-free and (not completely but increasingly) centrally managed communist-like society.  He figures they are helpless to do anything but comply and to pay more total compensation than certain professions can otherwise demand based on their economic contribution to society.

Well, the blowback has already begun.  Since Obama is going to make employers pay thousands of dollars more to care for full time employees, the new strategy is to not have as many full time employees.  Instead, if people want full time equivalent pay, they will increasingly have to take on multiple jobs.  If this sounds incredible, read the facts here.  That's right, the very sectors that Obama claims his centrally managed economic programs will benefit are getting the shaft.  These are likely the very same morons who thought that voting for Obama was a smart thing.  It is a clear sign that there is little fat left on the bones for Obama to redistribute.

People have to get over the idea that they deserve a living.  Get over it!  Life doesn't owe you a living.  Employers don't owe you anything except what they must pay you in order to retain you.  If government demands more compensation for you under threat of legal action against the employer then employers will either find avoidance strategies such as the college is doing or they will leave and find some other place to do business where government is welcoming hard working people by not trying to steal so much from them.  There is of course a 3rd choice which is to simply fold the business and retire or do something else.

$hit for brains Obama thinks that employers are all made of money but the truth is that most are struggling AND IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE for them as the global depression wears on.  What Obama is doing is cutting the throats of those who are living on the edge of collapse by demanding, under threat of government force, that they pay more than the prevailing compensation level for required skill sets.  It's economic suicide that is so blazingly stupid that it borders on treason.  It will reduce tax income, reduce services available to the public and raise prices across the board.

Of course, Romney would have been similarly corrupt but in other ways.  The problem is not Obama personally because I actually think he is smart enough to understand the economic damage he is doing in the name of furthering the political agenda of his party.  It is Obama's intellect in this matter which I think makes him a treason candidate as opposed to just being stupid or ignorant about economic matters.  The real problem is that Obama is not really in control.  He reads from a script that is handed to him.  Romney would have done the same thing.  Neither of them are or would have been good for America.

Wait until there are needless shortages of products and sky high prices for things that you need to live.  Wait until civil unrest hits America in a big way.  Wait until the economic damage happens folks and then if you voted for either Romney or Obama, please find a mirror to see whose fault all of this was.

  1. As in so many other countries that have gone down the socialist route, American workers will soon have to become self-employed consultants, pay their own small-business taxes, health insurance, retirement, etc, in order to go around tight grips on the labor market.

Am I the only one who thinks that the best description of America nowadays is not as a light shining on a hill but as a caboose of train going down hill?

  2. Unfortunately, who is any better? The US is still the best looking horse in the global glue factory IMO.
